This week, say “Hello” to a brand new portfolio theme – Portid! I have to admit it is one of my favorite portfolio themes so far: it looks amazing, it is user friendly, it’s optimized for mobiles and it was made regarding the latest web trends.

So let’s take a second look and see what kind of features we have and why this theme is so great for almost any type of busyness.

First, the theme is highly responsive, so you can be sure that your website is amazing, no matter what kind of device a visitor is using: computer, Smartphone or tablet. Responsive websites are becoming a must have these days, so if you are just starting a website you better choose a responsive layout, and, if you have an older one, it might be the best time to change it to a responsive one.

The design looks just perfect, it is catchy and colorful, but keeps it simple at the same time with a minimalist touch, so it has the potential to become memorable without adding too many visual elements.

The theme is made using HTML5+CSS3, it’s cross browser compatible, so it looks and works great in all major browsers, and it uses Ajax contact form so you can be sure you won’t miss any requests from your potential customers. Both Portfolio and Blog pages are dynamic and creative, providing an attractive layout for your content.

I highly recommend this theme for all the busyness owners that want a creative online portfolio with a touch of color and dynamism.

Nowadays in order to get your subscribers to open and read your newsletters you have to put more effort into offering quality and relevant content, as well as a clean and professional design.

We all know that subscribers don’t just read and click on everything they receive in their inbox any more, so you have to grab their attention and make them interested on your product; and you can’t do that if your newsletter template looks unprofessional or has an old design.

Also, as mobile e-mail clients are more and more popular, you have to make sure your newsletters look great no mater what technologies your subscribers use.

Here are two great e-mail templates by the syb_05 designers’ team: Domsha Newsletter and Atho Newsletter. Both keep a professional, clean and minimalist look and include more email templates in various colors. You can choose the template that fits your website’s design and start sending beautiful newsletters.

The flexible e-mail templates fit almost any kind of business and would be a great choice for online stores, as product pictures and call to action buttons are highlighted.

Take a look at our new e-mail templates and let us know what you think!

2012 was a year of change for interactive technology with many discussions on HTML 5 VS Flash. The industry is constinuously moving into other phases where more discussions occur so that these technologies will be increasingly well understood by a wider segment of the industry. Both HTML 5 and Flash are highly complex environments in which, on a daily basis, developers have to confront the challenges of executing interactive web experiences.

In this year, we have extended our business to cover more technologies as we completed the platform with unique HTML 5, WordPress, PHP, Javascript and jQuery components. Around 100 new galeries, audio video, banners, templates and other types of components from these new categories have been added in the past months.

So, we’d like to send congratulations and thanks to all developers and web designers that have contributed to FlashComponents.net to provide first class solutions that help our clients stay ahead of their competition. Also, we recently launched a new commission plan for exclusive and non-exclusive authors offering them the best author commissions on the web.

In 2013 we’ll continue bringing even more innovation, competitive products and features. The FlashComponents community is built based on genuine fellowship and cooperation between our members that are committed to showing people how interactive technologies can transform their web experience and engage their visitors more.

We wish you a very Happy Christmas with your loved ones. Have a great holiday and look forward to a very exciting New Year!

Outrageous VFX compositions made with Apple Motion, Adobe After Effects and Flash. In few words, this is how bushido can turn your site presentation in a unique one. Since three years ago he struggled to provide you only the best flash solutions, and he did it by all means.

With almost 650 sales and 40 components, you probably use one of his beauties by now, if not you definitely need to check his latest creations. With his newly released video effects Lens Flare Mix, Hot Logo Rays or Heart Firework, you can give a special touch to your logo, banner or even to your whole website.

But this is not all. Inside bushido‘s potfolio you’ll also find video loops and animation like Cool Hot Dots III, colorful design effects like Fantasy Flame Loop, or a great user interface like Flame Buttons. With them you’ll improve the visual experience of your audience, and create a super website.

We congratulate bushido for his work so far, and we’re waiting with enthusiasm for other great web solutions. Differentiate your website now, and select your favorite special effect.

What makes FlashComponents.net a top-notch marketplace are the quality files that buyers find here.
