    are all these feilds editable by editing the xml file, including border size, what about background color? surprised there is no readmen file for this.

    vip, I purchased this gallery, very good code I must say! I'm having one problem though, is there a way I can force the scrolling of the category and picture menus? Not the speed of the scroll (I figured that out), but the speed of the easing at the top and bottom (for the category menu) and left and right (for the picture menu)?

    In the actual file you cannot add sound … but I'll try to make some modifications for sound … so I'll give you a sure answer soon

    In the .fla file …. at lines : 572 and 574 you have :

    Line : 572 gallery.pictures["category" activeCategory].bar._x-=Math.abs(( gallery.pictures["category" activeCategory].bar.x- gallery.pictures["category" activeCategory].bar._x))/30;

    Line : 574
    gallery.pictures["category" activeCategory].bar._x =Math.abs(( gallery.pictures["category" activeCategory].bar.x- gallery.pictures["category" activeCategory].bar._x))/30;

    tolower the speed remove 30 from the end of the line and put a higher value …. exemple 100 …

    if can get it done just send me and email to viptehnology@gmail.com and I'll send you the file with modifications

    I just add sounds in the gallery … it‘s on pending but it will be acesible to you soon … so if you are interested adding sounds to your gallery just download the Gallery with sounds arhive … for any questions contact me at viptehnology@gmail.com

    Download the gallery with sounds arhive … and you will see the sounds are in the library … you just delete the existing sounds and add you own one but name them like I did: load, over, overPicture … then create the linkage Export for ActionScript and Export in first frame and this is it….
    you have 2 variables:
    previewSpeed – for pictures scroller
    categorySpeed – for category scroller
    you just put a biger value and the scroll will be slow … if the value is small the scroll will be fast …

    I just add the files with the modifications … just redownload the sources … and you will find the two variables:

    categorySpeed – for the speed of the category scroll bar
    previewSpeed – for the speed of the pictures scroll bar

    the modifications were made in bouth files (simple and with sounds files)

    kmicheli88 you can set the text format for the category title, text title, description in the fla file … the variables that you need to change are:

    categoryTextFormat for the category title
    titleTextFormat for the text title
    infoTextFormat for the description text

    1. The category scroll on the left side
    2. From 2 category scroll you can make just one simple scroll gallery … the source for this is now avalible


    ... the modifications are in pending and will be avalible soon …

    thanks, but now i have another problem..


    On my webpage it doesn’t work. It works in the preview from dreamweaver and the .swf file but not when its all uploaded to the web.


    Any ideas what the problem could be?

    yes the category can be remove … you have the files in the download section for this

    no … the gallery can only load .jpg .gif .png (only pictures files)


    can i load the pictures in a flash movieclip separated from thums slide?


    _I don’t understand very well what you mean … If you are interesed in loading the view picture separeate from the thumb picture yes this how there are loaded _

    I was wondering if there was a way to incorporate more of a photo flow hover for the horizontal image scroller on the bottom so that when you hover over one thumbnail it gets bigger or zooms in (or whatever you’d like to call it).


    Also, is there a way to adjust the speed at which the scrollers scroll? The bottom image scroller in particular is a bit fast for my liking.

    Yes this is possible but there are some modifications to make in the .fla file … please send an email to viptehnology@gmail.com with your request and you will receive an answer about this modifications. I don’t know if they will cost extra or not.
