3D XML Banner Rotator

  • Hi,

I was wondering if you could have a start bg image, instead of the startbgcolor that's currently the default for this component? I was thinking of adding a logo to the start, rather than a solid color.

If so, can you provide the code for that please?

    Thanks

    Regards, corbzy

  • I added start-up image to show with bg color. Please, re-download it. You can remove the image by removing startImage variable from XML.

  • Is can be called the images and text from html or php instead of xml file? or maybe we could call a php file with the xml file structure?

  • You can change default XML path from HTML embed code like that:

    var flashvars = { xmlUrl: "path/to/xml/filename.xml" };

    Or from source/com/flashdo/flashblue/Banner.as:

    xml/banner.xml

    to

    path/to/file.php

You need to echo XML structure from your PHP code.

  • Please, send me your web site info to help installing it.

  • I sent you the information through PM and email but you ignore me. So do I take it the joomla module version doesn't work and I should move on because it looks like you offer to help is empty.

Has anyone else had experience getting the joomla mod to work?

  • hi,

how do I set the background in the rotator so it is completely transparent? I want to be able to see the background image of the website when the banner is rotating. right now it is transparent to white... Do I need to go into flash?

    Thanks

  • You need to set wmode=transparent. It's added to sample preview file.

    wmode: "transparent"

  • I have it set to transparent in wmode, but when I test it in the browser it has a black background.
