the text is rotated at 270 and for that you need to add the font to the library …this are the steps:
1. right click on the library …. and select New Font…
2. give a font name … and chose your font from the list .. the font name have to be the one you put in the titleFormat.font
3. click right on the font name that appears in the library and select linkage …
4. just check the Export for ActionScript and Export in first frame boxses and then press ok …If you have any problem with doing thins … please contact me at viptehnology@yahoo.com … and I‘ll send you the sample

Can I specify destination URLs for each slide via the XML file? I want to take the user to a different destination URL for each slide if they click on the slide itself.

Hello,
I just bought the file and love it! I was wondering if there was a way to displat the banner under a frame (like a transparent GIF, or another layer)?I tried creating another layer with a border on top of the one layer in the file but it didn‘t work.

Hi There, thanks for the file, it is exactly what I was looking for. However, when I click on the image it doesnt take me to the new page. I edited the xml file to change this line "link="http://www.flashcomponents.net/component/advanced_xml_photo_gallery.html">" to my own url.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

As you can see the component is made in full AS2 code … so just copy the code in your other .fla file at the frame that you want to appear … if you have any problems you can write an email to viptehnology@gmail.com

What determines where it appears on the screen? I put the code in the same frame & layer where my other banner rotator was and though it is the same size (w & h) it starts about 15 pixels to the left of where I want it to be. I’m relatively new to flash so I’m sorry if this is an easy question. Thanks

the position of the gallery is given by this to lines :
_x=(Stage.width-width)/2;
_y=(Stage.height-height)/2;
modify them with your needs … this lines determine the x and y position of the gallery in the stage …

Hi.
Just downloaded the files.
The .swf file seems to work, and I can edit the .htm file.
The .swf and .html files seem to be plane black. Only one layer and frame in the flash file.
The .html file hits me with the AC_RunActiveContent.js. error.
I seem to be missing the html file in the sample 2 folder.
Please assist.

About the “AC_RunActiveContent.js. error” you have to copy the AC_RunActiveContent.js file in the folder with the .swf file … Please contact me at viptehnology@gmail.com with the link where you put the component and I will take a look …

Hi VIP,
It works perfectly in a stand alone projector. I have no problem with the Rotator until I embed into a movie clip.
The strangest thing; Text, Links, Images work fine. However the titles do not appear.
I even used the xml file straight from the zip file that came with the purchase…Same result.
Any ideas?

You probably forgot to define the font in the Library or you chnage the font name … that is why the Titles do not appear … if you have any problem with the file please send an email to viptehnology@gmail.com and attach your .fla file …
