  • Hi, I am building a website and found your Advanced Flash Template and really liked it. The question I have is what tools/software do I need to manipulate it, that is, take advantage of all that it has to offer and once I create a site, how do I upload it to a server. Can I simply use an FTP program? The only web creation program that I have is iWeb, but I have access to Rapidweaver and Sandvox.
    Thanks john@grandrenovation.com

  • The template is made to be fully controlled from external text files, so all that you need in order to customize the template is Notepad or a similar simple text editor, to edit the text data files, as described in the guide files.

After you have customized it, you can upload it to your server in any way, you can use any FTP program, that is not something that depends on the template, that is something that depends completely on you.

  • Hello,

There is a bug. When I put 7 and more projects in porfolio scrollbar not scroll to last project but scroll max. to half 7. What's wrong, I buy it because on preview was this bug and in orginal is not fixed!

  • Flash has a limit of 2000 pixels height, that may be the problem that you are encountering. Unfortunately it's a Flash issue, not related to the template.

  • Hello, I can also use Flash CS4, CS5, or you need to flash? You can also have the catergorie on video? It is possible to display a full screen or larger images in the photos? The swf, also supports reading from xml file?

    thanks Federico

  • You only need Flash if you want to make advanced modificatons to the code. For normal and common customizations all you need is to edit the XML files.

On the video player, all of the videos are displayed in the playlist, just like for the music player.

The photos on the images gallery will zoom out when you click them, yes.

The site swf works closely with XML files as everything is controlled and customized from external XML files.

  • Hello, Yesterday I've bought the template, and it seems really well done. Two things I think are missing and important. 1) have more categories on the video 2) have the possibility of a full screen for video. I tried to insert an external swf which uses the images to load an xml file .... does not work, you can get this? Eg with regard to the full screen image, I tried to insert images with a greater extent and it seems to work well. Thank you

  • I purchased your Flash Advanced Template but the "deep-linking" doesn't seem to work in Internet Explorer. It works in the Chrome browser though. What I mean is that in IE, if I start on the Home tab and then click on Services under the About Us tab, I expect to go back to the Home tab when I hit back but instead it will go out to whatever page I had open before clicking to open the template. It acts as if it is a "single page website". Do you know what the problem may be? Again, it works just as expected if I use the Chrome browser.

Also is there problem with this template in IE9 using IE8 or IE9 standards? When I use that it doesn't show full window. I have to put the IE9 browser in QUIRKS or IE7 mode.
