Hi FW, great design!
A few questions; – Can I add a button in the menu with an ‘external’ link to another website? – Can I change the opacity of the thumbnails in XML? – Would it be possible to have the transition between the images going from ‘right to left’ (and opposite if you go ‘back’) ?

I’m sorry I meant to say that, this option are not available in the main.xml file but this is possible to be added to the code.

Hi,
before to buy I have some questions…
1. Can I add more categories of photos?
2. Is it possible to add a button to link my blog-page? If yes, Can I add it in the menu (as text) or I have to add it in the Contact & Bio section?
3. What appens with vertical images? Are they resized to fit without any cut or the fit the width of the screen?

You can add as many galleries as you like.
You can add the link in the bio&contact window.
About the vertical images you can add two images in one forming a landscape format image or add a white or some other color frame on an image like for example a white background for the vertical image this way it will still have a landscape format…
If this is not working for you then check out my other templates that supports portrait(vertical) format images.

The thumbs have a fixed dimension they will not resize, this was made to gain performance…

Hi
Is it possible to have a slideshow? It would be great! Then when I select a picture obviously the slideshow stops. I would like to have it just when I enter the website.

Hi.
I have CMS for administration galeries and two questions:
1. if I generate xml for your flash, it will show galleries and pics. And I don’t need skills of flash. right?
2. I want to publish photos with 1920px width. Are there any restrictions for photo size and screen resolution?

This template use xml files so if you can implement a cms to edit the xml files it will work, and even if you don’t have an CMS you don’t need to open the fla or to know nay flash, all you need to do is to edit those xml files, is rally easy, documentation is included.
About the images size there are no restrictions and the size that you are using is perfect.

You can use two portrait images in one, this is the only solution for this, if you want portrait images take a look at my other templates, I have two that supports that feature.

Yes it can be embedded in a html page ant any size you like but note that the menu is not scrollable so if you have to many menu items the last ones from the right will no be visible.

I just bought the template. I tried embedding it in a flash window in my html page using the swf file and nothing comes up but a black window when I run it on the browser. What is the procedure for embedding this template?

I dind’t made this to be embedded in a flash window but it can be done if you like.
You need a basic embed code nothing special.
I’m using sfwObject but I don’t know how to explain this, is best for you to read this page http://blog.deconcept.com/swfobject/
You will find there examples and explanations.

New feature added, now you can add external url links as menu buttons this can be done in the main xml file, no need to change the code.
Those who already bought this and need this features download again the .zip file.

Is there a software key or password that needs to be loaded with this template? It was working fine for a day or two when all of a sudden the template stopped working and all I see is a black screen.

Very cool template and real easy to work with i do have a question though.
I would like to put my logo on the black info panel, is there a way to do so in the
xml file? i tried with xml tags but it wont show up.Im really a flash dummy so i dunno how to do this in flash, besides my system
doesnt have the right fonts aswell on opening the flash file.Thanks for ur reply

This is actually funny.
I think that you have some server problem, the template is fine, to make sure everything is working download again the .zip file and use the new updated files, also replace the index.html with the new one, I’ve noticed that on IE sometimes the template is not loading because of the swfObject…. anyway I solved that problem.

It still does not work. I downloaded it, and double clicked on index.html and got the message about loading adobe flash player. When I click on index.swf I got a black window. I have flash player installed and it works with other files.
