Hi,
All the things you need to do is :
If you need to add this movie in your page just
Enter the size of your movie width in “bannerRotatorwidth” parameter in xml file as you can see on the image above and enter the size of your movie height in “bannerRotatorheight” parameter and resize your frame or table size in your page to this size too, the movie automatically resizing the mask and other things in movie equal the size you entered in xml. and check the position of your buttons maybe you need to reposition them on your movie, you can also do it from xml file from these parameters :
“buttonClipY”
“buttonClipRightMargin”
“buttonClipLeftMargin”
And
“pausePlayButtonPositionX”
“pausePlayButtonPositionY”
And the same way to importing this movie in another movie expect of resizing your page’s frame or table .
You have one more way :
Resizing the movie from the FLA and entering your sizes in XML.

Hello,
I purchased your Banner Rotator 2 component from FLASH Components.NET. I am now incorporating it into my website and have a few quick questions.
Can I customize where the flash component looks for the XML file? I currently am assuming that whatever path I have your rotator1.swf file, the xml file needs to be in a subfolder called “/xml”? Otherwise, can I explicitely tell the rotator1.swf component where to look for the xml file (which contains the parameters for each image in the component).
Can I change the name of the xml file it searches for? Currently, you have 2 example files. It seems that rotator1.swf refers to bannerRotator1.xml.
Which parameters will I need to change to change the name of the rotator flash file from rotator1.swf to something else?
If you can answer these as quickly as possible that would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Dear graphika,
Yes you can easily rename the xml and change the xml path from a FLA file and also i added a feature to define the xml path with a variable in index.html.
You are able to rename the flash file but if you renamed you need to change the flash file path in your index.html page too.
If you have any other questions just let me know .

Hello Abadan,
Can you be more specific?
- Which variable would I customize to specify the xml path? I noticed you have a javascript method called AC_FL_RunContent. Which parameter controls the xml path?
- Also, you mentioned that I am able to rename the flash file. Can you specify which parameters I would customize to tell the flash component what the new path and filename is?
If you could provide a simple example or code sample that would be helpful.
Thanks again and thanks for building a very good component. :)

Hi,
In index.html in line 25 you see this code :
'FlashVars', 'xmlPath=xml/bannerRotator1.xml',
And in this code the path is ( xml/bannerRotator1.xml ) and the variable is ( xmlPath ), you just need to change the path.
Your path also could be a full path like this :
http://www.yourdomain.com/xml/bannerRotator1.xml
When you renamed the flash file then you need to change :
In line 43 you will see this code : ( 'movie', 'rotator1', )
Just rename 'rotator1' to new name.
Please add a new comment if this is not clear .Posted 8 months ago # -
Hi Abadan,
I realize the disconnect in the instructions. I purchased Banner Rotator 1.0 with Smart Tooltip!
Can you answer my question in context to your Banner Rotator 1.0 component?
Sorry for the confusion.

@graphika
There is not any confusion, don’t worry.
I really want to help you but i don’t know what exactly you need,
Please explain clearly, and send your files if you think needs i check them meyself.Posted 8 months ago # -
I purchased your Banner Rotator with Smart Tooltip component. I will be using the flash component on different pages on my website. Each page will feature the banner rotator, which will cycle through several different SWF files (defined in a xml file). So here’s what I need that wasn’t clear from the documentation:
1) for each instance of the SWF rotator (ie, rotator1.swf, rotator2.swf, etc.), how can I specify a separate xml file for it to reference and the path it will use to locate that xml file (within like a Dreamweaver project, for example).
2) Can I rename my SWF files from rotator1.swf and rotator2.swf (as they are in your demo files) to something like spotlight1.swf, spotlight2.swf.
3) Can I keep the xml structure you included in your demo files, but rename the xml file to something else (like spotlight1.xml).
4) EXACTLY where would I go to make changes to the xml path? Can it be specified in a javascript function parameter, or a property within the xml file? Or will I have to edit it somewhere in the FLA file? If so, EXACTLY where can this be done?
Hope this clarifies my questions.
Thanks again in advance for your prompt response

Hello Abadan,
How can you change the backcolor of buttons in your component? Your parameters allow the change of text color for all states (normal, rollover, selected), but do not allow control of the backcolor. I know you have an animation for the selected backcolor that switches from one shade of grey to another. But is there a way to define the colors for the normal state? I want to change from that rust orange color you use now.
Please advise on where witihin the FLA file this can be done?
Thanks
