Hello, as long as you keep the standard rss feed xml formatting while generating the feed you should be fine regardless of what server-side programming language you are using.

    Cheers.

  • Hello, I purchased your Clean AS3 News Ticker and it works very well in Netscape & Safari. However, when using Explorer I get an warning: Explorer has restricted this webpage from running scripts or ActiveX controls that could access your computer . And it blocks the page. Of course I can change my options to allow this blocked content, and it works fine. Other people viewing my page are not going view my page, since they have no idea what content is and it sounds malicious. Is there some way around this, any suggestions? The way it is now is unusable.
    Thanks-Dana

Hello Dana, please send a PM with where you purchased the file from, you don’t seam to be a buyer. We have not experienced this warning, it is most likely the way you embed it or another part of your html page that is causing problems. If you are testing offline (locally) then this is why ie will warn you it does that with any flash file that communicates with external sources, you will not have a warning when it is on the server.

  • I purchased it here on Oct 29, 2009 ( I just emailed transaction details to [email protected])

anyways, you are correct. I was testing locally, and that was the problem. Thanks!
