Just bought it,
the descreption about how to use and change features is very bad.
There some folders and files mentioned which don?t come with the package.

The help file explains all the settings and all the source files are included.
What folders and files mentioned are missing ?
I hope your understanding of Flash/XML is not the reason for your negative post, this is a very flexible and useful file, with everything included as stated.

I couldn?t find the folder “Drop Down Menu 01 by OXYLUS” after extracting the folder.

I believe you are referring to the following passage of the text file :
“... first copy the folder "Drop Down Menu 01 by OXYLUS" into your … “
The folder name was supposed to be “OriginalSource” . Just a text error, nothing missing from the package (just downloaded and checked it myself).

Does it support Adobe Flash CS4?
I’ve opened the file in Original/source/index.fla just to check it first and when i try the “Test scene” it does open but no text appears.
Any idea why?
I’ve tried the other samples in .fla included but the same situation happens.

yes it does support cs4….
I found the problem: the font variables have the same identifier between the three examples. If the identifier is diferent (and then also changed on the xml to the new font id) it works fine.

Hello, this file supports two levels, as shown in the demo. One main menu and one with submenus. What you need is an unlimited level menu, I’m not sure if there are any horizontal ones on sale here, however we sell a vertical one with unlimited levels : http://www.flashcomponents.net/component/vertical_xml_multilevel_menu.html

presale question: i like option 3, because of the solid box background for the submenu. HOWEVER, i need that submenu style on a top menu, like option 1 or 2. i have intermediate flash skills and a fair understanding of AS2 – still learning AS3. will it be possible for me to apply that style to a top menu once i purchase without too much fuss? thanks.

Version #3 bounces upwards, Is it possible to convert this downwards? Kind of like version #2 but not the way it drops down, more like version3 drop down?

Just bought your menu. This doesn’t exist in my “SourcePack” folder:
“drag and drop to the stage the movie clip called “menu”, it’s in the MAIN folder.”
Really want to use this menu…I love it but the directions are very unclear.

Hello, that folder can be found once you open the .fla file in the Library (Windows>Library). It is not a physical folder on your hard drive.

The data.xml file default font is “my_font”. How do I change this? Any other font name I put in there renders no font at all.

Hi, this happens because you don’t have all the fonts installed, please check that you have the proper fonts installed for this. Else, please email me and I will give you the fonts. Or you can change the fonts by going into the fla and editing each text field. HI, I just bought a scripts and would like to know if I can insert the menu flash on my html page.

However there is a big gap between menu and text content. Is there any way we can put the menu in different layer so that the menu layer is on top of html text layer?
