I was wondering if you could modify your script for me to only send to a fixed recipient e-mail address but leave everything else as it is. I have the need for an e-card site for a local hospital so that visitors can pick from one of several cards and fill out the patient name and a personal message then the hospital staff prints out the card and delivers it to the patient. How much would you charge me to make this change? Thanks!

Great application. But when you view the sent card you can not see - the persons name full at the top and you cann't also see where it asks if you would like to send this ecard to someone else.
How do I fix this?

This looks quite nice, I have some questions,%u2026%u2026%u2026%u2026%u2026..: to what extend can I modify the file so that it fits the layout my own site? How difficult would it be to connect this system to a system were people can sign up (paid) before they can actually send the E-Cards, I guess I need a database for this? Would be nice for me to sell e-cards that way. Thanks in advance, Robert

Hi, I’ve purchased the app and uploaded all the files to my server (after replacing ‘yourdomain.com’ with my own domain, but Im getting this error after sending the card:
“error e-card not sent” and then, after receiving the mail and clicking through the link I get this error: “unable to load external file”.
What could be happening?

Hi, I want to modify the EcardApplication.fla, and I have FLASH MX, when I open the file it says ERROR and the program does not open anything.
I bought the licensed version $95.95

I would like to know if we can add sound to the e-cards? Like if I can have a library of sounds and the user can choose what sound or song to associate with the card?

I have purchased over 30 components and downloaded on my computer yesterday.
However, I had a problem with the disk and I was trying to download the information again, however, when I go to my account I see all the items that I have purchased, but it is only allowing me to rate the package. It does not allow my to download it again.
Please Help!

The language loads from the XML file or from the swf file?

Can anyone help me get this working? I am getting the same problem as Idealistas.org in that when I press send I get the message: Error! E-card not sent! Yet the information is saved to the ecardText folder.
Now I do have a php email contact form that I moved to this same directory and it works fine.
Can someone help. There is no real documentation to follow or a working model of this. Does anyone who has also purchased this have a working example?

IT DOES NOT

I have kept all the pages together in the same directory. That’s why it can see it if you type in an absolute URL. It apparently does not like how the PHP calls pages.
I have exhausted all of my resources to make this work. It simply will not work within my site and PHP layout. I ONLY create websites using PHP (PHP that acts like frames). Therefore, if it can’t work within the structure of this site it will not work for any of my sites and I cannot use this product. (If you need proof of what I’m telling you as far as how I construct websites using the PHP layout, I can provide several URLs validating what I’m saying).
So once again, if this cannot be rectified I really need a refund so I can find another ecard solution which will work. This needs to happen as soon as possible as this is holding up my site.

equals the same URL as:
http://michelerain.com/NEW/scripts/ecards/index.html
It is exactly the same except the php is calling the page that is ID’d as 25 (ecards/index.html).
Your ecards show up in my php page (http://michelerain.com/NEW/index.php?main=25 ), BUT it will not send an ecard.
Your ecards show up in the http://michelerain.com/NEW/scripts/ecards/index.html (SAME page as above but a direct link to the page) and it WILL send the ecard.
My point being – I can get it to show up inside the php page, but not send an ecard.
For whatever reason, the ecard app. will not accept the http://michelerain.com/NEW/index.php?main=25
If someone can make this work, I would be thrilled. But I need this done asap so that I can set my site live.

Yes, I did try that.
Here is where I believe the problem is. In send_ecard.php the following lines:
http://www.yourdomain.com/EcardApplication/view_ecard.php?ecardText=$uniqueName
Changed for my site to: (this direct link)
http://michelerain.com/NEW/scripts/ecards/view_ecard.php?ecardText=$uniqueName
It works.
However, because I need to have the page show up *INSIDE of my php page* I need the link to show:
http://michelerain.com/NEW/index.php?main=27?ecardText=$uniqueName
It looks to me that the 2 php lines are getting confused.

You’ll see it sends, but when you go to pick the card up it does not work.

Hi,
You will need to go through and check the different paths for things in the php and flash because if you are loading the swf to http://michelerain.com/NEW/index.php?main=27?ecardText=$uniqueName
then the links will need to be relative to http://michelerain.com/NEW/ rather than to the directory the swf is in. And I assume (though I don’t quite know how php frames work) that you may need to add the code from view-ecard.php to your php file? unless you are loading the view_ecarde.php file from your php file?
Anyway, I will leave this with you to work out, as it is not to do with my script, but rather how you have set up your website. It has been designed to work on normal html pages, and if you wish it to work another way it is your responsibility to work out how to modify it for this purpose. I have helped you as far as I can.
