    Thank you!
I looked on your page and I see that the 3rd movie is
http://www.oceanwaydrums.net/media/videos/blue_tv.mov and it working fine! Please let me know what is the problem exactly! Also be sure that all mov files are H264 encoded.

  • Yeah, I put up a couple of more tests after I posted my message.

Ahhhhhh,...I think that might be the problem (H264 encoded). Thanks.

Also is there a way to have a loading message if its a video that might take a long time to load?

For this is the that rotating circle that stay visible until the thumbs or metadata are loaded.... you can change the movieclip from library that have the name preloaderMC with whatever you want... Please let me know if you have any kind of problems.

  • bought it and love it but I have a couple MOV files using the h.264 codec that it's not working for. Here's a specific clip: http://expiredpineapples.com/hdvideo/YellowClip.mov

and here is the test page: http://expiredpineapples.com/hdvideo
When you click on the 1st video the audio doesn't work.

It does work with just about everything else I throw at it.

Please help and keep up the good work.

    Hi,
    I looked on your site.

The audio don't working because: 1. maybe there is no audio for that files (maybe wasn't converted properly), 2. for mov the audio need to be AAC encoded.

The videos start after are full downloaded because don't have metadata!

  • Does this mean it plays videos from YouTube (www.youtube.com) or simply it plays videos in a similar way to YouTube.

Basically I want to know if it can play:

  • Hi, my button FULLSCREEN doesn't work. Did anyone have this problem? I'm not using youtube files, my *.flv files are on my server in 'video' catalog. My hole site is made in flash, I've only copied frame with player and changed the parameters in xml file. Does this function only work with some specyfic projects?

    @irish_dancer
I don't see "has bought the file" under your avatar :); anyway... fullScreen feature will work if:
    1. you have more than Flash player 9.0.85
    2. you have set in your code that embedding the swf: 'allowFullScreen', 'true'

  • Because I've bought a package of 3 players :) I'll try your solution, thanks. BTW when you are changing something in players because it doesn't work correctly can we upgrade our version after we bought it?

  • @gomarvelous - first of all I don't understand why you are saying "still aren't working". We implemented and used the new YouTube API before they removed the old one so our players always was updated to work with YouTube API's changes. Anyway, please let me know what you are doing exactly when you saying that the YouTube videos aren't working. Maybe these things helping you:
    - some YouTube videos aren't working if they have country restriction or embed code disabled
    - if you opening the swf from your computer you need the videoPlayer.swf to be added to Flash Player Security Settings: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html
