  Just wanted to say, I really love this player and all upcoming updates :)

  
  

  What redbird is suggesting sounds good i think. If a third party website is adding the player that some copyright/backlink is shown within the player.

  
  

  Is it possible to add that in the XML aswell, for instance showCopyrightByEmbed = true/false
  if it is going to be implemented?

  Open the source file share.as Go to line 302. Between line 302 and 303 add another line that should start like this:

  @Pieter Yep, the hosting had some problems last week, which honestly gave us lots of headaches. We have already acquired new hosting. the option will be part of the poll.

  @redbird Some of them work with minor changes.

  
  

  But our principle is to improve continuously the player. Most of those plugind you already don’t need.

  
  

  Our intention is to continuously add features (google analytics, ads etc), and never increase the price.

  
  

  The best software to recompile the swf is the latest, FlashCS4. You will have no problems with Flash CS3 either.

  Ability to tweet this video in twitter (along with link to the video, tell a friend email and embed option, a little button that allows to post link to this video in twitter (shorten link, of course)

  @laguitar We have double checked the rtmpe feature. Here is a rtmpe link that you just need to paste in the settings file. Check how elegantly it works.

  Hello Flash Expert.
  I have couple of questions regarding the modification of the Player appearance!
  First, is that possible ...before I start digging with the CS4 on the player, to have the MENU modify... in a way that when viewers click the subtile menu in menu list... the contents will shown below the player ( with previous and Next buttons, horizintally placed)... or in any other way possible.. as by this I mean.. the rest of the MENU list options won't get HIDE and only accessible by scrolling down function?

  Exemple: MOVIES, MUSIC etc, ...than by clicking one of then... the contents will not affect the appearance and NOR between then.
  Hope you understood my question!

  Seconde... would you please email me with the instruction on how can I capture the live streaming.. direct in to the player... and still have the MENU aside as a option. THis will incredibly improve my site!
  I planning a major website reshape.. and will use only this player as a source fo video and streaming!

  Hello - nice viewer!

  Question: Concerning the captioning XML file how could we modify the player so start and end times respond to milliseconds rather than round/solid seconds?

  In the XML file I'm able to add ".000" to the start and end points however once I add a number (".123") the caption doesn't respond.

  @bwiebush The player is made to work only with integer seconds. Removinf the math.Round function from the caption.as file , right there where it parses the xml file will lead to an error.

  @lalook – as you can see on this page the YouTube videos working fine. The problem is for old version of our players because YouTube changed the way of how the loading the API’s swf file. The old API loaded the swf from here: http://gdata.youtube.com/swf/apiplayer.swf this file it’s not used anymore, the new API loads this apiplayer: http://www.youtube.com/apiplayer All that you need to do is to download the last version of our player and it will work.

  YouTube made modifications and the older versions of the player are no longer able to play YouTube.

  
  

  Please update your version of the player to the latest available version. Simply redownload it.

  I updated the player to the latest version. YouTube is now working again but I have a problem.. It seems that the control bar stays black, no matter the color you set in settings.xml under “controllerBackground value”. Anybody else having this issue?

  @redbird With the number of customizations we had lately, and with the help of suggestions coming from our clients, of course the updated version will benefit from the period between 01.18 until now. We are aware of the importance of launching the update and of the promises we made, but we don’t want to launch it bugged. We are working on it.
