  Yes - you can make the thumbnails any size that you desire, which will allow you to have more.

  Please can you explain what you mean by this. Do you wish to have multiple instances of the gridNavigation on the same stage?

  You can disable the click to close feature and use SWF's for the large images which have links and a close button.
  
  You can also use an event to detect when the large image has been clicked to close and execute a link at that point.

  @adri123,

  The thumbnails will always be flush next to one another. You can make them appear to have spaces by adding space to the thumbnail images.
