How would I change the bg of the stage to the image?
instead of bgcolor: “#00000”
I would like it to point to background: “images/featured.jpg”
Also how can I turn off the descriptions?

I added loop of items by loop parameter (Set loop=“true”) on XML.
I added slideshow functionality by slideShow & slideShowTimer parameters on XML.

Hi,
I have a problem with embeding the swf in my html file. Offline its all working fine, but when I upload the exact (!) mirror (I don’t think, there are wrong paths) on my web server and open the page, it just don’t show the flash content.
Did you ever experience such a problem or have a clue what’s causing this problem…
P.S. I have other flash content on my website which works fine.

This is a perfectly elegant gallery for my needs and I noticed that the gallery supports playback of images and SWF files. I have an SWF file that includes the FLV playback component to display an FLV video, but when I add this SWF file to the xml file it does not display the video. Is it possible to add FLV playback to the gallery?

Hello, I just purchased this wicked gallery. Love it.
I do have a bigger flash project that I would like to import this gallery into.
I copied all the files inside the Horizontal Image Gallery folder to the bigger project folder.
Then I tried copying all the files in the horizontal image gallery library and pasting them into my bigger project library, but it does not work when I test the movie.
The Compiler Errors are as follows:
The class or interface ‘NextBtn’ could not be loaded.
The class or interface ‘GalleryItemReflectionMask’ could not be loaded.
The class or interface ‘GalleryItem’ could not be loaded.
The class or interface ‘GalleryItemReflection’ could not be loaded.The class or interface ‘PreviousBtn’ could not be loaded.
Could you help me point out what I’m doing wrong?

Hello. I’ve come a croppa with something. Though, it’s a little fuzzy as to what it could be.
I’ve been testing on the following browsers, though this doesn’t appear to be the issue:
Safari / FireFox / Internet Explorer
The component has been used on a site I created.
This is viewable on my machine and other machines, both Mac and PC.
However some machines aren’t able to see it.
The odd thing is while the component on my site isn’t viewable by these machines. The demo version viewable here can be seen.
It must be something I’ve done my end, but oddly still works on certain machines. I don’t believe it’s the version of flash or Java as the demo version on Flash Components still works on their machines.
I suppose the main change I’ve done was to put the component within a subfolder of the site. This required I change many of the links within some of the files. I also removed the horizon div. Do you know of any conflicts or other things to test?

Remove old swfobject.js. It had some issues to resolve. Use my swfobject.js all in your site.

I have a few questions:
1. Is there a way to slide over by 3 rather than just 1 at a time?
2. Am I able to add images of different sizes into the same gallery?

thanks, it really nice. but how can i set the width of each image ? because some of poster are in landscape. any setAutoWidth or setAutoHeight ?

Hi, first of all, great work, a really cool module.
I am having problems integrating it with Joomla 1.5. I add the module through the mod_flashmod module and on the spot where I want it to bee I only see a black square. Also when I add a custom HTML pointing to the swf file, it does the same thing – a black square. The interesting thing is that when I access the swf file directly it works.
The gallery.swf and all other sub folders are located in /flash_module at the root of the webserver.
Any solution ?

I already built the layout for this, same type of layout, but it seems that in oder for me to get it to work i may need to download your example. Will I be able to fully customize this so it matches what i have started already?

I forgot to mention that I will need each image to link to a .swf file that needs to sit in the same spot as the gallery. Is that possible or does it need to go to a new url?

Hi there! This component really worked for me. I only have one small issue. I need to insert a graphic inside the source file but because the fla doesn;t include any layers, I don’t know how to make my graphic appear on top of everything else. The image gallery is rotating normally but I need my graphic to be on top of all these… How can I do it?
