  • Hi and thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

Here is the part within the menu.xml that seems like it should work.

    <item> <title>Home</title> <method>navigateToURL</method> <args>http://www.gforcebeats.com</args> </item>

    Kind regards,
    Bruce

I also would like to know if there is a way of taking out the gradient background, and if there is a way of changing the font. I would like to be ablt to make the letters much sharper and crisper. They seem a little blury even before the effect kicks in.

    Kind regards,
    Bruce

  • You should delete bg from FLA source. Easily open FLA & delete bg image from scene.

You can mail me, if you can’t success it.

  • It sounds easy enough but which file is that exactly and which folder is it in?

Are you refering to the menu.fla file which is in the source folder or the menue.swf file in the deploy folder?

I don’t want to bug you with such small details, and I’m sure once I get into it I will want to tweek more things, so I don’t want to burdon you every time I want to change something. But I will take you up on sending you the file if I really can’t sort it out this way with your help.

What software do I need to be able to edit .fla files along with .as files? They won’t open in Adobe GoLive 9 or CS2. I assume I need dedicated flash editing software.

  • Yes. You need to open source/menu.fla. When you publish it, it’ll create menu.swf in deploy folder. You need to work with Adobe Flash CS3 / CS4.

  • I want to delete de background, but when i open the FLA and export it, the menu doesn't appear, even if i don't touch anything. I have the font, so i don't know what to do. is it possible to have the file without that grey background?
