  Good to see you back Nitrox.

  
  

  I bought your template before Christmas. It is working well on a number of levels, the only concern I have is with the video player.

  
  

  I have replicated the video module to be used several times on the same site. works terrifically, however I have a problem with the video playing automatically.

  
  

  I would like to be able to have the video module open, but the video files stay paused until the user pushes play.

  
  

  I have tried to reconfigure the ActionScript, but to no avail. I can get it to start paused, but then it will not play.

  
  

  Can you help with a quick fix? Or can you send the ActionScript for it to start Paused, then Play?

  im keen to buy this template, however what i need is to intergrate a shop within the gallery hopefully. is it possible to add buy now buttons for paypal or even better have slimbox pop up when clicking on image the image which would have the buy now button within slimbox? – have managed to get this to work with other xml/flash

  Main Page – Does anyone know how to change the type that’s within the text flashes that are ‘features’, such as it starts out with “Simple Installation…installing ikoOte”? Also, how do I change the website title on the very very top that says “ Ai Studio – ikoOte V1???

  To change window title change title tag in index.html.

  Hi, does the xml files need a particular way to save on the dreamweaver ?
  because when I change the xml file on dreamweaver the index doenst show anything… but if i change the xml file using notepad then it shows fine on the html index file.

  I think I’ve got a stupid question but because i’m no experienced flash/xml user i’ve got to ask it: How do you upload pictures to your template/gallery? Does the XML automatically detects new files in a certain ‘watch-dir’ or do I (the admin) have to manually edit the .xml to add every single picturefilename/ location (like httpdocs/images/IMG0022.jpg and so on)

  
  

  In other words: if I upload pictures to my server are they automatically displayed in the gallery? if not is there a simple tool to do this?

  
  

  another question: I would like to have a few different categories in my gallery. One category will be photoshop projects. In this category I would like to use this template. Flashden Before – After

  What video formats does the video player play? I’ve tried .swf, .mov, and .flv and nothing. Do we have to add any actionScript do it? It just keeps showing it as loading,then loads and nothing when I go to test it online.

  I tried to use Chinese Character and I have added the fonts in “Embed” button as well. After I publish the file. Nothing shown up.

  
  

  If I change the chinese character to english character in xml. It returns normal.

  I just bought this template. I want to purchase other components from this site. HOW do I integrate them with this template?
  In other words, I want to click the "GALLERY" button on my main SWF and be able to display a different gallery component from another vendor when the button is clicked. I am new to Flash so I don't know how all these things go together.

  Nice work! I found a little trick to get it to start up with nothing but the background (I have a photographer website and I like to have the full background picture as the first thing a client sees).

  
  

  In config.xml, make the first menu item look like this:

  
  

         <menu_items>

  
  

                  <item   title="HOME"  content_path=""  target="" mouse_rollover_color="0xFFFFFF"   mouse_rollout_color="0xDDDDDD" />

  
  

  It’s just an empty button. It also doubles to clear the screen when you want to quit the gallery or portfolio part.

  Hi. This looks great.
  However a warning: In your sample there are several links to an external site which seems to be infected with a virus / malware. (Arabyeah! Studios) Please remove those links. Also my IE7 on XP crashed when I accessed the News page.

  I just now learned how to use Flash CS4 and was able to get the News work online! It’s so cool. I had problems with it too at first. Use Notepad to edit the xml files and save as ANSI. The original files were saved as UNICODE!

  Is there a way to make a login page similar to Contact’s page? I need to insert a php code inside the xml file so that when the user has login, his/her name will be inside the flash and not on top of the page (outside of flash template) which moves my ikoOte template down.

  anyways – on the news module and information module how do i get it to except symbols?
  your howto is not very well done – u should maybe just have added an option for this in the main config file – bcuz not everybody speaks english…

  
  

  and one other thing – stuffe like buttons and such u should have made a script to customize thos with your own words aswell..

  
  

  i thought this was suppose to be xml driven “open with flash 8 – but you really dont need it”

  theres a bug in the news script which makes it crash firefox and older versions of internet explorer – this needs a update or it should be removed.. why have a non-functional module in your template?

  Boy do I wish you had posted a day or 2 earlier. This was my biggest concern when making the decision to buy.
  The news crash thing is very real, every time.
  I can get no action from the Sub Menu, no rollout on mouseover, nothing on click, it’s just dead and I can’t figure out why.
  Hopefully one of you kind souls with more experienced using this package, could offer some advise, since the author seems to be MIA. Thanks IA

  im still having problems using other swf files on this template – the xml guestbook made by this author just displays banned IP if you load it up..

  1) I too have the exact same issue as jscott. I would like the first video to freeze on the screen and not play when the video player is accessed. Have tried numerous changes to the AS as well as telling it not to autoplay in the XML.

  2) Also have the same prob as some others have reported here w/ a Red box flash on the news screen initially. Have looked at the .FLA masking, etc. but not able to figure it out.

  If anyone has solved either one or both of the above 2 issues, would love to hear from you at mecvo1984@gmail.com
