I purchased your Image gallery XML a few months agao and I am very happy with it.

I have a problem with a slideshow which loads and operates fine in IE but will not load in Firefox.
I have put a few hours into searching for a solution, with no luck.
Do you have any known fixes or bug issues I have missed.

  • potaplijac01, you will find those variables not in the XML file, but in the FLA file. Please read these instructions for a more detailed explination

  • Hi,
I just downloaded this gallery. I have a thumbnails that are crops of original images. Is there a way to pull thumbnails from one directory and big images from other directory?

    Thanks,
    Ashish

  • Hi, I’m afraid that is not possible. It could be done with an average ActionScript knowledge, but I cannot help you with the custom request.

  • Great product. Is there a way to resize the browser window once you click on a link? I want to just popup the image in a nice small window. Thanks!

  • Hi snowcat!

I just downloaded this gallery and I have this problem:
I loaded the gallery as an external movie (swf) to my fla but the thumbnails are scrolling to the total width of the page . How can I restrict them to the same width of the loaded movie?
    Can you please help me?
    thank you
    e.

  • eangel,
A better solution is to import the movieclip of Image Gallery in your current project and after that apply a mask over it.
If you still having problems, send the FLA file to support at flashxml.net.

    matt.foster,
I’m not sure how to resize the browser window.
But I believe a nicer solution to your problem would be to use Lightbox. You will find instructions on how to implement it here

  • Hi,

I'm sorry but this is not possible. You could try the Image Scroller to see if it fits your needs.

  • Hello Snowcat,

You've got some great flash products that I will always admire.

Unfortunately, I have been having 2 problems with this one in particular that I can't seem to solve on my own. I removed the mirror option as directed on the horizontal image gallery Flash code; however, after achieving this, there seems to be a blank white space, where the mirror was located, that does disappear. How do I get rid of that blank white space to make it look more like the vertical gallery, while still maintaining a horizontal theme.

The next problem deals with the spacing between the thumbnails and the large image being displayed. Is there a way to change the white space between everything to the color black (preferably) or any other color?

    Thank you.

  • Snowcat,

Please disregard my previous question. I just had to play around with the stage in the Flash file and I figured it out.

    Thanks anyway,

  • Hello again Snowcat,

I'm not sure if this question has already been answered in older posts because I can't seem to view them... Here's the problem so far, I got a spry assets drop-down menu to work correctly in all browsers except for Google Chrome. For some reason the gallery overlaps and hides it when the menu drops down. I tried removing the iframe and placing the wmode = transparency code in, and it still over laps. I haven't tried using css positioning yet. Is there a particular way to keep this from happening?

    Thanks
