It’s a beautifull flash component. If i will make it i use a very lot of hours. It’s very inexpensive for a great effect. Thanks

Love the tools, I got this image scroller and having a problem I am hoping you can help with. Some of the galleries are kind of large, 900 thumbnails, and I have a preloader value set to 20, but it still wont show anything till everything loads, hoping I am just doing something wrong

Yes it’s possible but there need to be made some modifications on the code. That’s why you’ll need to send me an PM containing an archive with your files and I’ll make the modifications and after that send it back to you.

any way to add dots for each image in the list? not thumbnails of the images just a dot for each image being loaded (or some other little graphic). i see it others but like the functionality of this. agree with other…no need to be free :)

On your flash scroller, I really like it. Do you know how I would add a scrollbar underneath it to add a second way to scroll the main movieclip?
Also, do you know what code would I use to pull this swf into another movie, or is there a good tutorial you know of that would show me how to do this?

1) I need to display text description on each pictures.
2) auto Slideshow starts if no mouse activities within 30 seconds.

Hi,
I'm trying to make this image scroller open up videos in a video player within the same .swf. I've place the contents of image scroller xml.fla into a new .fla project with an FLV playback component. I've titled the instance "video_playback"
In the XML file, I've changed the URL to point to the relative location of the video (url="vids/video2.flv"), but when that is triggered, the video opens in a new browser window. I'm assuming the change must be made in the XML file, but I'm not sure how exactly to do that. Is what I'm after possible? And if so, how exactly would I achieve my goal? Thanks!

Love your work. While I purchased Image Scroller FX, I went back to this basic version here. I'm working with Image Scroller Basic and I'm trying to do something similar to what facilwebcol did with video but I just want the images to gotoAndStop at a frame in my main SWF. I've called image scroller xml.swf into my index.swf using the ScrollPane component (I'm in CS5).
I've changed this.onPress to be gotoAndStop(urls[i]); I also tried gotoAndStop (Number(urls[i])); but it doesn't change the index.swf to the frame i want when clicked. I've added _parent. and _root - still nothing. I'm relatively new to AS. I've run a trace on the images and the scroller is generating the correct number for the image. It's just not going to the requested frame. I know the issue is with gotoAndStop - any ideas on what is going wrong? Your expert thoughts are greatly appreciated!!

Hi~~ what if I wanna have more than one image scroller basic flash for my entire website (with different pictures in different categories), how do I do that??? Because the flash is linked to "images xml", where can I change it???? Btw~~ it looks every nice on websites!!!!!

Great script, thank you for posting and allowing the free usage of it.
Quick question: I am working with transparent png files as my images. When the images load, i notice that they do so as Bitmaps in the code. How can I change this so that I can still use the transparent pngs? Reason I ask is because it loads my images with added white background to them.
Any help appreciated. Thank you!
