  • Guys, you really should set up a payment gateway that is a bit more instant, rather than just having Paypal payments. I just bought a component today for a commercial project which I needed asap, but my Paypal account is saying that the expected clearing date is 9 days later. Waaaaaaay too late by the time I will actually get the component unfortunately.

This is indeed a problem for all who are in a hurry and are using eCheck.

Though, through PayPal you can pay also in an Instant payment mode. On the paypal side, you have to set up a credit card for instant processing. It can take 2-3 days to set up instant processing but sometimes the confirmation number happens come right back to you.

Sorry for taking so long, but we're working on implementing a directly credit card payment option.

    Thanks,
    Chris,

  • Paying by PayPal is not a problem for me but I was dismayed to discover I cannot use my Mastercard to pay you from my PayPal account. Why? I used it in the past. The only other card I have is a Mastercard which I have reserved for other purposes, so I was forced to put that on the account in order to pay you.

I think PayPal change the rules at their own sole discretion and we can't do nothing about that. For example as an author I was withdrawing money in USD to my bank account and PayPal is now converting my money automatically to local currency. I was asking PayPal why they do this automatic exchange and they said these are the new rules. So what else can I do, I'm loosing some money because of these exchange from USD to local currency because of PayPal low exchange rate but that's it.

Regarding your Mastercard payment I think you have to add fund to your PayPal account using the card and after that to pay for products with the funds from your PayPal acount.

  • Not sure where to post this so put this here. I have just purchased the Snowcat Special package and not one of the files opens up in Flash MX Professional 2004. I assume this is because it has bee created in a later version of Fdlash but nowhere does rthis state the minimum requirements. Can the person responsible for this please ugently reply back as i would like a refund if this is the case.

    Scott.

This is not a refund case because for every product included in the package you see on the overview page the technical requirements.

Also Flash Mx2004 is pretty obsolete so update your Flash to at least Flash 8 and/or CS3. But if you're still enamorated with Mx2004 you can ask someone having Flash 8 so save your .fla files as Mx2004 (you have this option in Flash 8) bust some features like blur. drop shadow etc will not work in Mx2004.

  • Please don't get rid of paypal though. For the guys like me who actually plan ahead on big projects weeks in advance it's still a convenient. Other companies would get rid of paypal and keep teh credit card info. This is a pain because I need to hassle my Vp for his credit card for $10 items. :>)

    flashcomponents.net rocks!

  • I am very frustrated with your site. I was sent to PayPal, in which I selected to have an instant payment made instead of waiting on an e-check. HOWEVER, PayPal wanted to charge my account 1.95, (yes, refundable later, but STILL!), and a number from my bank account statement, (honestly??). Talk about scary. Are you serious?? Good luck with that.
