Is it possible to play swf files in the portfoloi or are only images allowed?

I didn’t try it with swf files. But, there’s no a restriction about play swf.

I think I’ve got a stupid question but because i’m no experienced flash/xml user i’ve got to ask it: How do you upload pictures to your template/gallery? Does the XML automatically detects new files in a certain ‘watch-dir’ or do I (the admin) have to manually edit the .xml to add every single picturefilename/ location (like httpdocs/images/IMG0022.jpg and so on)
In other words: if I upload pictures to my server are they automatically displayed in the gallery? if not is there a simple tool to do this?
another question: I would like to have a few different categories in my gallery. One category will be photoshop projects. In this category I would like to use this template. My question: is it possible to combine or load different templates with your template or is this impossible?

This is a banner. I can help you integrating it. Because, you should be change some code.
This template doesn’t have a CMS. So, you need to open XML files, write image names, copy images to folders manually.

Hello flashblue,
I ve bought your template and Ive got a question. If I use very bright photos at the homesite, its very difficult to read the news. Is it possible to change the textcolor? It try to change it via xml and css, but Ive been not very succesfull.

Open portfolio.fla
Open home/news_inner_mc from library.
You’ll see
color = “0xFFFFFF”; -> line 13
———————————————-
color = “0×00CCFF”; -> line 21
———————————————-
color = “0xFFFFFF”; -> line 29
on “actions” frame. Chane them as you want. Re-export fla.

hey, i always get a error saying “undefined”, both in the flash inspector and as a report file in safari after exporting. how can i correct it? and is it possible to set the slideshow to “off” as a default. same for music, i know how to place it not in the movie to hide it very easy, but i just don’t want music. can you help me?

You can use it as PHP mail() function.
Change
$objmail->IsSMTP();
to
$objmail->IsMail();
Delete that lines:
$objmail->Host = $this->SMTPHostname;
$objmail->SMTPAuth = true;
$objmail->Username = $this->SMTPUsername;
$objmail->Password = $this->SMTPPassword;
on mailer.php

This is a cool update for your great template.

so it is a very up to date design,

I love this template.
