(///I am excited about you products. I just purchased the XML-Photo_gallery_grid style. I’m a graphic designer, & I have several images I would like to place in the gallery. The images were created in Adobe Illustrator, then converted into jpeg’s with Photoshop. Is there any particular resolution or setting I should use for the images. They don’t appear to be crisp once I place them into the galleries? My resolutions are around 300.

– Images should have resolution of 1220×610 (or proportional more)pixels and 150×76 pixels thumbs. A resolution of 300 pixels is much too large for the Internet. (will load too heavy). It’s enough resolution between 72 – 150. I really need the images have 1220×610 (cut or collages proportional more), otherwise will seem distorted. for any queries contact me.

dimension for images is minim 1220×610
You can put more pictures but with this large proportion. Need to take into consideration the time of loading for those who see the

All data is easily changed from xml files. For menu :

Hi, I have two questions.
1) What does the “.nr” signify in the xml files that call for the pictures, for example
<photo_set>
<photo_large>photo/1_l.jpg</photo_large>
<photo_small_over>photo/1_t.jpg</photo_small_over>
<photo_small>photo/1_t2.jpg</photo_small>
<photo_thumb>photo/1_s.jpg</photo_thumb>
<photo_info>Description photo nr. 1 </photo_info>
</photo_set>
does the nr. 1 mean it’s the first picture in the “photo” folder, or should it just be consistent with the file name for the picture it’s calling?
2) I have one blank box at the end in each of my galleries, why is that there? Thanks.

Never mind question 1. I figured out it’s just description of the photo.
Still have trouble with the blank boxes appearing at end of each of my albums.

How can I change the number of items in a non-gallery list? For example, there are 10 “news” items, and I want to reduce this to only two. Deleting the extra news.xml entries still leaves blank entries in the flash which attempt to load non-existent elements.

I just bought 1 x Photo XML FULL Portfolio – Template
I can switch out the images but text on images are really pixelated. I tried increase jpg to max and not compress file. If image is in my library it is clear. It is automaticly compressing my images. please help what can i do?

Really love this template(i purchased it). I do have a few questions for you to consider or maybe there is already a workaround. Is there a way to put our header over the background ? I only found one way to do this and that is by reducing the vertical size to 70% and adding html for my own background. Works but does not blend as well with yours.
Seconds is there a way to change the color of the “menu” font. Quite a few people have not been able to find the menu. Maybe an xml paraameter to specify the menu font color.

Hello, love the template. Is there any way to allow for photos that are vertical or square in their proportions without having to crop them to fit the horizontal template proportions? I inserted a square photo at the correct pixel height (610 pixels), but it placed it to the left side and was not centered. I put a horizontal photo in at 1220 pixels wide (but with a greater depth than 610 pixels) and it understandably cuts off the bottom of the photo. Is there any easy way around this to show my complete photo and not have to crop them all to the horizontal proportion? Thanks again!

hello, to add more albums I added more folders under portfolio folder, however now the list goes down and disappear, is it possible to add any scroll bar on the menu panel ? thanks…

How can I change encoding of text in XML file for Eastern Europe. I changed encoding=“iso-8859-1” for encoding=“UTF-8”. It’s still does’nt work. Robert from Poland.

I found your templates and they are great. I loved that template to expose photos and i decided to buy it. But the photos are not all horizontal. I have many pictures vertically. I inserted a few vertical photos with the correct pixel height (610 pixels), but it placed it to the left side and was not centered. The same was happen when I put a horizontal photo in with the correct wide (1220 px) but with a smaller than 610 height pixels and it placed it to the top and was not centered.
How can I solve this problem (photo in the center )? Can you help me?
