purchased component action script errors

  i bought a XML slideshow to cut a bit of development time out. Only problem is that it will not export correctly. It throws a few errors. I am having a bit of a problem contacting the author. Its been about a week. So i wanted to ask here for a bit of help before i just dump it and try something else.

  here are the errors exported just as his description states. flash 8 as2
