Fixed the 1067: Implicit coercion of a value of > type flash.text:TextField to an unrelated type Number.
This error was giving because you erased the declaration of the userScore variable.
Correct code:
var userScore:Number; //variables always have to be declared on AS3

It works now! Fantastic support!!! THANKS!!!! There is a slight issue with GoDaddy but I think that is the fault of FLASH not this program.

Hi I’ve recently purchased your system and before trying to implement it I thought I’d just try your example first on my server. I upload a webpage with the swf embedded and I also upload the PHP and the text file but I keep getting the error “Error in saving submitted score” message. Am I doing something wrong? I haven’t touched the code in anyway just simply uploaded to the server.

hello,
I get a problem when compiling the fla in flash cs4. My goal is to run the swf locally, so I already set up wamp, folder...etc
here is the error i get when compiling after having submitted the score : Error: Error #2101: The String passed to URLVariables.decode() must be a URL-encoded query string containing name/value pairs.

My highscore is time-based. How do I reverse the highscore so it shows the lowest (fastest) first?

I have not been able to add this component to my game, nor have I been able to get any help from this author. It would be very hard to recommend this product to anyone. Its very unfortunate. Would very much like a refund.

Hello NewWave, As you know, I replied back the first time you requested for help and the 2nd time. You gave me a deadline for help I offered for free, and I am currently extremely busy working on a very big project, but anyway I offered my help. The file you sent me was a Massive game, written in OOP style with different classes, this script right here is written on the timeline, of course you are free to change the script to a class. I apologize for replying back so late but as I explained before on the emails I sent you, I am left with very little free time.
