  • I'm having a problem with this menu.  I am trying to update menu.fla to give the menu a solid black background; however, when I export menu.swf after making the chance, the menu ceases to function.  How can I correct this?

    Thanks,
    Christie

  • I know the problem is that I am not exporting properly, but as I have never regenerated an .swf that utilizes external source files I am unsure how to go about it.

  • You should install the font used in menu. Read readme.pdf file carefully. If you don't have that font, please send me private message to remove background image.

  • heh, go figure it was the font, I though I had changed it, but I seemed to have only changed on instance of "Myriad Pro" in the .as not both.

    Thanks, works now :)

  • Please advise how to stop the links to stop opening in a new window. I've tried to change the target to _self or _parent but this does not work.

  • Remove ", _blank". Write XML parameters like that:

    http://www.sitename.com/path/to/url/

  • Please can you tell me if it is possible to change the width and height of the menu, and can i also make the background transparent rather than a solid colour?

  • I sent you transparent file.

  • Very impressive support turnaround time - I emailed Flashblue at around midnight and i received a reply (with amended resources) approx. 8 hours later.

    Thank you very much.

  • Is it possible to add a drop down menu to this? Or, do you think that might be an upgrade option in the future?

  • You can add another menu if ou know AS3. It's one level menu currently. I'll add that feature in the future.

  • Not sure if I'm missing something but I want the 'currentitem' to be different on each page so the page open is the one highlighted in the menu. Does this mean I need to create a different menu.xml for each page? and if so how do I change the names of the xmls so that it still finds them? Thanks

  • Hello,

I still have a question about target url?

Please advise how to stop the links to stop opening in a new window. I've tried to change the target as http://www.mysitename.com/contact.html/path/to/url/ or http://www.mysitename.com/contact/path/to/url/

    but this still doesn't work.

    Thanks

  • Hello ! I just bought your menu - I was wondering if you could let me know how to change the background color ? My site has a white background.

    Thanks for your help.

  • When I try to add this menu to another flash document, I get this error:

Unable to load requested XML file: Error #2032: Stream Error. URL: file:////Volumes/Macintosh%20HD/Users/nwitcraft/Desktop/Menu/source/xml/menu.xml

What can I do to fix this?

Thanks for sending the file without the background also!

  • As you read, it searches for "xml" folder. Please, copy xml folder in deploy folder of the menu to the your project.

  • Hi.. great player - thanks...

I notice that in IE the volume slider doesn't work (on my site) and even on the demo page at flashcomponents.... tried on a few different computers...

All good is Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari for PC.

  • It's not a player. I think, you told about HTML5 Audio Player. It's IE issue. You can disable it in IE.
