I’m also having a problem where the text doesn’t display (even using the default xml etc – Any ideas?? Could this be font related??

You need to change code on com/flashdo/flashblue/Banner.as

Change “Helvetica 55 Roman” & “Helvetica 45 Light” to Arial or other font. Also, you need to change dynamic text font in fonts_mc in library to Arial.

I sent you that file by changing.

You can show/hide texts if you set them empty. You can change y position of content from

com/flashdo/flashblue/Banner.as

Go to line 499 & 503. You’ll see title_txt.y = ...

Open fla source. Open banner/preloader/preloader_mc. You’ll see “percent” frame. Change its tint color at the end of frame. Open percent_mc. You’ll see dynamic textfield. You can change font color there.

I have bought the component, but I have a problem… how many objects it supports? The slide plays automatically but it stops at the the third image (I need to present 33 images 800×400pixel…). Thank you!

It supports unlimited number of objects/items. Please, look at your image path written on XML for 3rd item.

I changed its XML structure & coding. But, you can change preloader x-y positions from source/com/flashdo/flashblue/Banner.as

Search for

preloader.x = ...
preloader.y = ...

Hello flashblue,

I want to buy your product, but I am pretty new to the graphic design and flash. So pardon my trivial set of questions:

1. Can I change the size of the banner (W and H) by using xml parameters
2. Can I change images in the banner by using xml paramters
3. In general, can most characteristics of this banner (duration/delay, colors, fonts, text positions…) be updated via xml file or will I need access the code with special editing tools?

You can change all you wrote from XML. You need to change width-590, height-300 to other values from XML & HTML.

You just need to open XML & HTML files in a text editor.

So how would I resize the banner without republising the .swf file? You distribution .swf is 590 by 300 and I need 468 by 168?

I just bought your components. It’s works fine, but I have a problem…

I have to click btn 2-3-4-or5 for it to start scrolling the images. It doesn’t starts by itself. Should I change some settings somewhere ?

It occurs from wrong CSS path in XML generally. Because, AS codes tries to load CSS file as first. Look at path of CSS in XML.

Love the customizability of this component, but I’m having a few issues with the buttons. Sometimes, they don’t change when the item changes, so it’ll be on the 3rd item but the first button still shows as active. It’ll also occasionally not go to the next item. It’ll transition to the same item again. Any thoughts?

Buttons are disabled when preloader is visible. If there’s another issue, please send me your files to have a look.

Hello,

I am trying to resize this slider to 600x202 how do i do this?

Even after changing the CSS, FLA and XML the banner is still 590x300.

Any thoughts? Do i have to modify any actionscript?
