Sliding Image Gallery XML V6

Home / /community/ / Components Discussions / Sliding Image Gallery XML V6

  • I need the “sliding image gallery v6” but I want to know if I can do some customizations for my client. (Is this open source? How much will cost if I need it to manipulate it and finish this project (it’s just one part of the entire project)

    Thanks,

    Francisco/..

  • Open source/banner.fla. Go to library. Select banner/fonts/fonts movieclip. Change fonts there.

    Then, open source/com/flashdo/flashblue/Banner.as . Search for your changed font & replace it with your selected font name.

  • Great component, only have one issue – i want to have the content shown by default and disappear on rollover – opposite to the current effect (exactly as it does in the sliding_image_gallery_xml_v2) how would i achieve this?

  • Open source/com/flashdo/flashblue/Banner.as on Adobe Flash CS3/CS4. Add that code after line 674 (*image.addChild(contentBox);* ):

    Tweener.addTween(contentBox,{alpha:1,time:0.3,transition:“easeOutSine”});

    Then, open source/banner.fla. Re-publish it.

  • Same problem as aleix84. Titles disappear if you re-publish no matter what font is used.

  • Thanks,
    useful component!,

    Is there any way i can turn off the auto scroll if more than 5 menu items?

    also if the menu is left aligned, can i have the image right aligned, so a gap is introduced between the menu & the image ?

    Many Thanks

    Nick

  • Buttons scroll with mouse if there’re more than 5 items or banner height.

    You can change button position from XML. Change:

    buttonLocation=“right”

    To:

    buttonLocation=”left

  • Thanks for that, how can i enable the component to autoplay?

    at the moment it waits until clicked before loading an image?

    eg:

    Thanks

  • It autoplays. But, if you wrote CSS path in XML wrong, it doesn’t autoplay.

    cssFile=“css/banner.css”

  • Thank you very much for the replies,

    is there a way to turn off the auto ordering adjustment of the menu ?

  • Can you describe it more? I didn’t understand.

  • thanks; sure in the flash below:

    http://www.wtgevents.com/index_march_2010.asp

    if you do not press anything, the menu on the left jumps to the bottom of the flash file.

    If possible i would like this to be stuck to the top and not move?

  • Hi,

    Thanks for you component… it’s really great.

    I am having a problem with it in ‘FULL SCREEN’ flash mode.
    Flash Player 10, when hardware acceleration is enabled, the component runs through a few cycles and then it crashes the computer. It works fine when hardware acceleration mode is turned off.

    Can you think of anything your component that would be affected by this?

    Reading some posts on the web, some components that use an ‘HBox’ or ‘VBox’ have some issues. Do you use these, or do you do anything else special in your component that reacts to Full Screen mode being activated?

    This is quite urgent for me, so your quick reply is appreciated!

    Thanks again for a great component, I realise that this is not your fault but a fault of the flash player itself. I would just like to find a workaround to keep your component working as you intended.

    Thanks, John

  • There isn’t a fullscreen or resize event handler code in it.

  • Is it also possible for the image description to always show instead of on mouse over?

    #  /  posted on May 15, 2010
  • Yes. If you purchase it, send me a private message. It’s only one line of code to change.

  • Thanks for your fast response ;-)
    It’s weird… I’ve just check again on a my pc (ie 6, 7 and 8) and nothing appear.
    All is ok on my imac and also on a friend’s pc. It seems that the problem is only on my machine… I continue to check and i’ll come back to you on mp if some other users have the problem.
