Hi,
My playlist currently has 20 FLVs, but the Related Media panel only has 11 thumbnails, and is NOT a reflection of my playlist... for example the Related Media thumbnails appear to be 11 random selections of my playlist???
Can you please fix this so that the Related Media thumbnails are a mirror image of my playlist.

Hello Jack,
The related zone is generated automatically from the movies that belong to the same category of the current movie. If you want a particular related list just define for each movie:
your_related_list.xmlIf I understand correctly you want to be displayed in the related zone the same movies that appear in the playlist. The solution would be to save your "playlist.xml" as "playlist_related.xml" and put it for each movie like:

Renaming the xml file to playlist_related.xml works!
The Related Media thumbs panel now reflects the flvs in my playlist for each category.

I love the look of the video player, but I have to admit, I'm totally confused as to how to put this player in my own project. Are there any tutorials or anything?
I expected it to be like the flash components I've used before, where you install them into flash and then edit it through the components inspector, but this is something else.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to get this player into my own project?

Thank you for buying our component,.
You need to have all the elements from the library in your project. Once you did that, there are 2 ways: 1. you drag from library on stage the "player_v1" component 2. you use addChild like: addChild("player_v7");

Unfortunately, I'm still not quite getting it. I understand how to edit the videos and playlists, etc, but when it comes to putting your video player into my existing project - it just ain't happening!
Basically, I have a project which is near completion. There's just a big hole on the front page which I intended to fill with your video player. So far, I've had no luck whatsoever in getting this video player working on my front page. All the graphics looked squashed up and it seemed to be stuck in some sort of super fast loop.
You, mention I need to have all the elements from the library into my project - just how do I go about doing that?
Please excuse my stupidity, but I honestly expected the process to be a little more straight forward than this. As you can tell, I'm pretty new to Flash.

For insertion in a Flash project, as I said in the previous post, you need to have all the elements from the Library in your own Library project. To do that you can create a folder, let's say "ultimate_player", and move all the elements in the folder. Then, just copy and paste this folder in the Library of your project.
Once you've done that you can add it to stage in 2 different ways:
- you drag from library on stage the "player_v1" component
- you use as3 command, addChild like this: addChild("player_v7");

Hello.
I'm new here and i'm looking for a Flv web video player which allows me a auto-refresh playlist. On other words. The player is playing a video and i need to change the playlist, upload it and the player automaticly update the playlist. The player is playing the videofiles on is local disk!
Can anyone informe me about a solution?

I want to send some one a link to the video player that instead of playing first video on the first category by default it plays for example the fourth video on the first category ?
Is there a way i can do this?

Hello,
You can do that. For example, play the movie that you want and then go to share option and copy the "Link to this video". That is the link that you'll use to load the player with a specific category and movie
In this preview demo the options is not working, but the parameters are correct

Can you please send me the link to the youtube video.
If the video contains all 10 parts there is no way you could brake them in the player because it plays the whole movie specified by the YouTube link.

Hi, I have two questions: Can this player Vimeo videos?
Can we remove the top banner area where it says "Fancy Products Slideshow", so i would have only the player area and bottom banner with video thumbnails?
