sorry i am the one with the greek character problem. I posted my message by mistake on Resizable XML advanced video player, but the thuth is that i have purchased Ultimate advanced xml video player with playlist and categories (25 dollars). Here is again my problem : *“i have purchased the product but i was unable to make greek craracters appear.
I have used utf-8 in the encoding of the xml and also iso-8859-7, i have saved the file as utf-8 as asci and unicode but nothing seems to work . can you help me?”*
I can see that you have fixed it for the other product can you do something for this product also?

Great Player- You are very talented. My question is about loading the player with the playlist closed at first. Is this possible? My flash skills are rudimentary, but if you can explain even the complicated answer, I will go from there!

I am going to buy the $20 version for now as it seems to load ‘sans’ playlist initially. If you discover an easy way to load V3 without the playlist open- that would be brilliant. Thank you again for the work!

Ok I can do this. Buy it and I will work on the code. It will take an hour or so but it can be done:).
Just to be sure you want the video expanded with the play list hidden, exactly like when the play list button is pressed?

I have the player inserted in an html page and all works fine in IE but in FireFox the main page scroll bar is gone?? Not the player scroll bar but the main page. Any ideas?

Hi Tibi. Thanks for your excellent collection. Please forgive the long post. I purchased the Ultimate Package last week. Great work! I have a request along the same lines as several other posts for the Ultimate XML video player with playlist and categories:
I too would like the V3 player to open with the playlist initially hidden. I also wonder if the playlist could then appear (unhide) when switching to full screen? Similarly, I wonder if the info text could be visible by default when switching to full screen mode?
Third, I wonder if there is a way to modify the playback parameters as follows:
I want auto_play set to "no" so that the user must click to play the currently queued (1st) clip. Then I want the loop to be set to "yes", so that the next playlist clip (playlist clip #2) loads. Up to this point, everything works as you designed it. But here is where my requested modification comes up: I want the next video (playlist clip #2) to be paused on its first frame (as if auto_play "no" forces a paused state for this second clip) and start buffering. Then the user must click the movie or play button to start playback of this second playlist clip. And so on for each next sequential playlist clip item. So, basically, each next clip in the playlist loop will be paused on load.
Is there any way to include .swf files as clips in the playlist?
Is there any way to embed links for the video clips so that if a user clicks on the clip or a predefined region in the player window, they will go to an external url? I know that clicking on the player window is supposed to play/pause the video, so this is probably a conflict. But is there any way to do this: When a user hovers over the clip in the player window, the info window shows on mouse over and then fades on mouse out?
Additional wishlist items:
1. There is a "back" button |< . Why no "next" button >|?
2. Tooltips for player buttons.
3. An awesome feature would be the addition of a "random" button that would select the next clip from the playlist randomly.One issue I'm having: When I attempt to put more than one of your players/galleries on the same html page, I can't get the second one to work. For example, the video player and a 3D Carousel. I see that they use the same referenced file, swfobject.js, but I have duplicated the swfobject.js and named it swfobject2.js for the second instance and renamed any necessary references.
Another related issue: When I attempt to add more than one 3D Carousel, only the first one works. Again, I have duplicated and renamed the related files/references ('swfobject.js', 'index.swf', 'website', 'expressinstall.swf') by adding "2" to the duplicated file names/references. To work around these issues, I have even tried iframes, html includes, and php includes - with no luck.

In my Dreamweaver page I add a flash object, this is what i get for the code:

Hi Tibi,
I also have the need for starting the video without playlist with autoplay for a single video.
How is it possible to get the updates that you have done to the component.
We very much like what you have done, we have made a few minor changes, overall the code and the documentation are very clear, just have to wrap my brain around how you have implemented the player.
we are currently testing but will deploy the player soon. thank for all you work.

Hi Tibi,
I am trying to add the Ultimate XML Video player to a fla. It works fine until I put it online. Once online it just isn’t showing up. I have been leaving the load and destroy buttons and they show up but no sign of the player. It also works fine online on its own. Not sure if this is enough to go on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
