  (excuse my bad english) Just one problem: with the screen and the text area, if they disappear. The movement jerky makes them even visible on the sides before each disappearance, whatever the size of the window. It is not very aesthetic. . It should be a more fluid movement...

  i said you customize the tween easily , you can choose you tween type your speed , whatever i will change the tween type to make happy :)

  Hi Ceasar, I installed the carosel and looks good. I made some changes and all works well except I cant figure out the code to drop the thumbnail ilower in the upper right hand corner
  Look here please. This is the "GO BACK" thumbnail. Which piece of code is controlling that?

  One last question Ceasar....
  
  I am using the carousel several times on different frames.
  
  Each frame has a different xml file called by the carousel AS.
  
  When I click to a new frame I would expect the old carousel to dissappear but it doesn't, it loads the new carousel with the new xml but it doesn't unload the old one so I wind up with 2 carousels overlapping each other.
  
  Is there some way to clear the old carousel when the menu button is clicked and sends it to a a new frame?

  Last try...I want to use a button to close the netstream video, which seems OK but I also need, to close the thumbnails as well. Then when the playhead advances to a new frame it can read the action script calling for a new xml file. So when the button is clicked everything in the carosel goes away. . Then the new frame has the same carosel but using a new XML file. Is this possible?

  I have bought your package because they look good and I was itching to try the Video Carousel because is would work ideally on my website. However I do not have Flash but Swish – so is it necessary to customise this in swish or expression web? If you have a set of instructions for beginners or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it because I would really like to use these components they look great by the way

  I love this file.

  things I would change are:

  1> leave it at one angle so that it scrolls but you can see the other videos behind
  2> when you mouse over a video it snaps to the front view and shows a headline & sub headline at the botom of the picture

  I have the carousel and I think it's great. Just one thing – Is there a way of adding a new button that acts as a 'return to the carousel\’? – instead of clicking on the jpg.

  What line in the actionscript controls this?

  This is just what I’ve been looking for. Few questions tho:
  1) The preview video gallery is quite wide. Is it easy to cut down some pixels and define new sizes?
  2) The mouse controls the vertical movement too. Can I turn this off and use fixed vertical position? Vertical movement doesn’t offer any use what so ever.
  3) Is there a full screen possibility?
  4) What video formats are supported? Or does every video have to be a flv?

  Hi tabbu :D
  the gallery is resizable you just descrease the width and the hight of the stage and it will resize it self .
  to stop the vertical position there is a function called ‘moveCircle()’ just comment the line :itm._y.
  the full screen it will be in the next version very soon.

  What a beautiful carousel. I’m new to flash and xml. Here’ s my problem – it works fine as a swf – I can get everything to work. When I put the swf into my dreamweaver file I can’t see the images.

  to make the swf work well you must check for : – the xml file is in the same directory of swf file. – the xml is work well. – the path of the images is correct .

  Just bought the video carousel and have a few questions to get up and running. I know a little bit about uploading and coding but am no pro. :)

  
  

  1.I have a folder on my website I created for flv. Do I just upload my flv files to that folder as my destination path?

  hi Eddie,
  upload the video carousel to your main url .
  take a snapshot from your flv files .
  upload your files wherever .
  in the xml files write the url path of your images and the flv file.
