  I placed the vGallery swf and the 2 fla files on my site and put all my flv videos in a folder as well as images in a folder.

  I have been using this file which is wonderful.

  
  

  I want to use the actual video player for a couple more static pages in my site. how do I use the viewer in a more static fashion? Copying just the viewer and controls into another flash file obviously doesn’t work – Is there a simple bit of code I can ad to a frame with this in it, or a bit of code I can remove from the player itself, then set a target to a specific file?

  Hi, nice player!
  I just bought this today, and all my movies are 320×240, and the player has a different aspect ratio, so my movies are all stretched out.
  Is there a way to adjust that, so the player fits movie better?
  Do I change this via actionscript (I didnt see it anywhere) or by just changing the video screen layer dimensions in the CeasarsPlayer mc.

  This looks like a fantastic component. My clients’ SEO guy is suggesting we put our videos on YouTube and link to them their for viral marketing, instead of linking to them on our server. Is it possible to u se a YouTube link in the XML file? Or maybe we could pay you extra to add this functionaility, if possible? Thanks!

  PLZ HELP – i purchased the viedo carousel but am having some problems.

  
  

  first problem, when i publish file from flash 8 i get an error message – see attached image error

  
  

  i can load flv files from my server ok but for some reason the ‘Seeeek’ slider does not pick up the video progression, it doesn’t move. see image video _seek, Why are my flv files not picking up the seek slider?

  
  

  Also my clients videos are all different sizes, what can you suggest to size them, what size should i use, and what program is best to convert avi, mov, mpeg-4 files to flv files which will work in the player?

  Also, how customizable is the code? We have a pre existing application that we would like to use this player for. The current application pulls tests from a database as the video plays. Ideally we would like to place the testing on the right hand side.

  Regarding the YouTube possibility, thanks for letting me know it is possible. My client has decided not to use YouTube for now though, so I’ll just hold off on that.

  
  

  However, I do have a question same as user tom@ below. Should the player “dynamically change the width and height of the movie and images” to keep the video constraints? Some of mine appear to be getting squeezed.

  I love this thing. I have one issue, when I click away from the page onto my desktop or even on my browser, this thing spins at a very high rate of speed. Any way to stop that from happening or reduce the maximum spin rate? That really needs to be fixed. thanks. Kenn
