Video Streaming

    Hi there,

    before I purchase the right FLV player, can someone tell me which ones can run without a dedicated streaming server? It's not very clear in any of the descriptions. I still want the clips to stream and not be progressive. i.e. the Wimpy Rave player is ingenious, except it doesn't run in Flash 10.

    What exactly do you need? can you please be more clear?
    If you don't want to stream videos and want to play them over http, then any video player will do.

    I don't know the player you are talking about, but if it was created in an earlier version of Flash, version 10 should run it without causing any problems.

    As I say "Backward compatibility is a must for all programs" :).
