  I am having trouble getting this file to work on my webserver - it works fine locally and from the server environment, it works but, from the public internet - something is preventing this from working properly - any help is greatly appreciated. Even speaking with the files' creator has us both stumped --- can anyone help? thanks emanhicorp@gmail.com

  Did you tried to set a crossdomain.xml policy file on your server to allow other domains? Can you test this from Seifp server or maybe you have another host for testing again...

  Yes, I created a cross domain .xml document and placed it in the website root folder but, it is still not working. I contacted seifip and he was perplexed as well - the strange thing is that on the server it plays fine. Are you using this template? I really need some help on this - and would greatly appreciate it. I can provide access to the server if you can help me out with this - thank you.

  I'm not using this template. Can you move the files to another server (maybe seifp has already the files on a server) and
  access the url/files from his server to see if its woking?

  I am a beginner who works for a non-profit organization, so please be patient with me. :) Using Dreamweaver, I embedded Video Template into a static page online:
  
  This is the first Action Script error I received....
  
  Error #2044: Unhandled ioError:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. URL: config.xml
  at videotemp_fla::MainTimeline/videotemp_fla::frame2()
  
  ...then you get this error...

  at videotemp_fla::MainTimeline/videotemp_fla::frame2()
  
  I've recreated the local directory structure on the server, so all files should be accessed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  I just want to use the player without rescale or adjust to screensize but just want the player static to use in projects. I would like to get rid of the top and bottom lines as well. Any help would be appreciated.

  Now for my problem...I have a whole website built in AS2, and this is AS3. How can I load this movie as a layer on my AS2 site.

  I want to make the video player 512×288 and the thumbnails larger as well. Is there a simple way to do that?

  I am having some problems with the text for the categories. It keeps cutting off what I put in. I want one to say “SIZZLE REELS” and another to say “DOCUMENTARIES”, but it cuts off the last letters or word.

  
  

  If I had known that this would be a problem as well as a lot of the limitations this template has, I wouldn’t have purchased it in the first place. I also wanted to have the player be a little bigger and play the next item in the playlist, but after trying to mess around with everything, it seems like it is too much of a hassle.

  @cjcrane: I sent you a mail… As for the customiseability of the template – it is very easy to change with XML and with some basic knowledge of AS3… I can give you links to many many different examples of completely customized versions of this template with bigger players, simplified UI or new features.

  @bullyinworkplace: That’s not possible at the moment and probably won’t until Vimeo allows loading of their videos with the Vimeo API.

  the auto resizing works great in test mode, but when i publish to exe or html, the resizing stops functioning.

  
  

  with exe files, when i maximize the screen, it stretches out the entire thing, and the top and bottom lines do not resize at all.

  
  

  with html files, the html window resizes, but the flash movie does not.

  
  

  is there some way to fix this so that the resizing works after publishing as well?
