  • I think this is a really fantastic file!!
    Great work.

I would buy it too if it had video controls on the FLV player.

    Hi …
the .flv player that I’m usign have no controls but you can add a skin from predefined controls in the .fla file or you can add your own .flv player …

... the full screen function is not available …

  • Looks great!

Can you customize so there is full screen control? Would that be difficult?

    Thank you

  • I might buy it and do that myself then because it is nearly 100% of the kind of file I need.

I would strongly reccomend that you attach video controls to this file as almost every video player on the internet has some kind of controls on them and besides not everyone would know how to do that.
If they did there would not be much need to buy files…lol

    Great job.

You are right eirehotspur … but as I said you can attach controlers but the predifine flv player controlers that you get in flash 8 … this is very simple just click on flv player properties and add a skin with control … anyway I’m working on a flv player that will have a nice designe and everything you need for a good player … and as I said it will be at a special price for the buyers of this component…

  • Can you reduce the commercial price from $200? That’s the most expensive flash component in the world I think… I’d bought the $20 version, but apparently to use it in my regular commercial website I’d need to pay $200?! Please make it more reasonable, thanks.

    #  /  posted on Feb 16, 2009
  • Just to clarify, from what I understand, by buying the $20 version I cannot use it on any commercial website, and neither can anyone else who bought it at $20, is that correct? So for me to use this on a single one of my sites that I sell things on, I’d need to pay $200?? Somebody please explain. The other flash component sites I buy from don’t have this multiple pricing, and I can’t pay $200 for a single component just to use on a single site I sell stuff on. Is that right?

    Hi graphicsguy …

this comment is available for every user on the website … Wall Image Gallery will be available in Vip Gallery Pack with a discount of 50% at Simple and Special License … and for the users that both the pack it will be free … so buy the pack now and you will get in 2 days this component for free ..

  • Hi Vip, thanks – that sounds interesting, so let me know what the cost would be total?, I’ll wait for you to update the final page at:

    http://www.flashcomponents.net/component/vip_gallery_pack/buy.html

with the listing (and therefore license) for the wall component as well, included in the special license pricing. Your components look very well designed, I just need to economize in this depression/recession, so $200 for a single component is too high for me. If you bundle it with the others, I can see $180 for the special/commercial license would be ok.

    Thanks,

    graphicsguy …

this how it will work … the price for the Vip Gallery Pack will be 47$ and 280 $ (for special license) ... but if you buy now the pack with the price that is now, when I will upload the wall gallery and probably other gallery’s in the pack you will be able to use them for free like the other users who both the pack before the upload … Anyway this comment is for all the users that are interested in this component…

  • Is it possible to have the thumbnail image be different from the image that pops up? The problem that I have is that I have horizontal and vertical shots. I want the thumbnail images to be cropped square, then when you click on it I want to show the full image large on the screen.

  • I bought a 20$ version of this component (Wall Image Gallery) for testing; Can I use it in a DotNetNuke based site? how I should address swf and also xml file in my modules? as you know there is not any static page in DotNetNuke based site and all pages are made on the fly, so addressing is not so simple; can I have several instances of that component on one site?

    Hi syrmansytech…
First of all I don’t know how DotNetNuke works … but I’m sure there is no problem if you have several instances of the component on one site …

  • Thanks VipTech,

It works like any other CMS web application; but the question is can I address the xml file somewhere else beside the flash (swf) file?

  • Hello.
I bought your gallery, but on preview, it can resize on browser resize but this is not included in source? I bought this because of it.

    Hi …

tesekkurler … the problem is a publish setting at html at dimension select Percent and at scale select Exact fit … then the swf file will redimension to the browser size …

syrmansytech … how would you like to refer to the xml file beside the flash file ?

  • I am interested in purchasing the component, however am confused by the comments of others

I want to build a simple website and use this wall interface to display images that then be clicked upon for further actions.

    2 questions:

    1. Can I add this to a website? Any issues?
    2. Can the image link to another page on the website?

    thanks!!

  • Hi,
I was just wondering if the XML object could be passed to the component without the component calling an XML file? So the XML object is hardcoded within the fla.

Also, is it possible to change the XML object while it’s running.

    N.B. I haven’t purchased the component yet.

    Thanks,
    Sherif

    Hi sherif79…

so you would like the .fla file to include the .XML parameters … well this can be made with some arrays and variabels …

on your second question … yes I can make the project refresh in a time interval … and get new data’s from XML file …

If you are interested in any of this modifications please write an email to viptehnology@gmail.com …
