    My question is just like nfactor, which is that I need the picture in the pop up larger and other then NEXT , BACK and CLOSE I don’t need any others. If there were more comments in the AS file it might make it easier to customize myself, but as it stands I am not sure how I can get this accomplished.

    Very cool work! Just some questions before purchasing; though I've been reading posts below and I am pretty sure my customization needs will be solved.

    - What if images format is different, I mean, if I need to use horizontal and vertical in the same line?
    - You can send me the code modified to make images in pop-up larger, don't you? Or could you just indicate the parameter to modify in the AS code? I'm not very skilled in AS, but with some help I can manage most of the times.
    - Description text font can be modified too?
    - More than 32 images possible?
    -Mirror effect can be easily deleted?

    This gallery is as2 masterpiece but very hard for customization.

    
    

    1. There is no comments in the code of almost 1000 lines! It takes ages to understand logic and find what you need.
    2. Gallery is totally written in as2. Buttons, backgrounds, movie containers – everithing exept video player (used standard component). For the coder it is a dream but what about special effects? There is no timeline movie container that could be adjusted and customized. All you want – you should code in as2, no timeline options. Can you imagine how much time is needed for just simple customization?!
    3. Code logic is really complicated. If you need to change someting small you finally have to go through all the code and make changes. It is hard time.
    4. There are a couple of bugs with used fonts that could be ignored but still annoying. Probbaly it is a compatability problem with CS4.
    5. when I saw ugly speed scroll of the preview images I thought that I will change the speed and galley will be OK. I was to naiv. If you slow down the scroll effect it slows down transition animation too making gallery unusable.
    4. Finally there is no promissed technical support.

    
    

    Please use this component only if you plan to use as it is without customization.

    first I see you really evaluate my component, thank you for that … I will try to explaine some of the issues that you present :

    
    

    1. yes the code is not commented … I usualy put the variables that can be change in the top of the code, so nobody would have to find and modify in the code
    2. gallery is written in AS2 code that is why the file has only 500kb, because the images are dinamic loaded and the component is very flexible …
    3. the code is very complicated, because not all off us think a problem the same … and each programmer has his own style …

    5. yes you are right and I think we figure that problem out …

    I too are having issues, I wish to run this gallery in landscape mode, please send me the code to allow me to do this! Otherwize you should stipulate that the gallery can not run in this mode, if so I would not of purchased it.

    If you would have a loader in your library it would add about 2kb to your project. In comparisoson to all your project it is less than 5% and in comparisson with weight of loaded images it is less than 0.001%.

    
    

    Finally we expect to have promised technical support especially that at least we do not ask for customization but just for your code clarification. It is not big deal to answer our mails instead of keeping total silence.

    
    

    We haev discovered another bug with link area on preview images. First it looked like delay reply from the server but finally we discovered that not all the image area is clickable. This is a serious bug and must be fixed. As soon as code is not commented we can not define cleary what is wrong – you can either advice us on email or write your reply here.

    Regdomain – one loader coming up … I will add a text loader to the script it is a good ideea … about the code, all the programmers have an unique way to do a component … I don’t know if mine is good or bad so I don’t want users to make an example after me … the variables that can be changed are on top and this is all that is needed

    to change the xml path go to line 130:
    
    xml.load(“gallery.xml”);
    
    and change it with the xml you have, you can use a link to an xml like this :
    
    xml.load(“http://domain.xmlfile/xml”);

    the number of rows and columns is given in the .xml file … so you can put any values you want … about the thumbnails widths here is an algoritm … the widths depend on the number of the pictures on the rows, the width of the component and the spacing bettwen the pictures, every of this can be set in the .fla file so … yes you can give a specific width…

    I’m trying to configure it the way I want… right now it’s showing exactly how many rows and columns, but my problem is that it’s showing so much black space around it and cutting each thumb in half from the top and bottom… how do i get rid of the border around the whole thing?
