  • Hi,

I've replied to you by email.

You can either use the transitions as regular masks at the beginning of your movies; or create and link them dynamically using action script when you click the buttons.

There should be plenty of examples in the library.

  • Thank you, i just want to do the same like this sample, but with my buttons... I can not find how to do that.. there is no sample in the library because this are not real button´s all are programmed by AS2, there no exist.

I just want to create a button (simbol), and add the AS2 codes. Each time i give click on it, an extreme transition will appear, that´s all.

Thank you for your support. You know, i am a big fan of your components, there are greats.

  • Hi,

I'm afraid that the effect in the template you've linked is a bit different that what can be achieved with these transitions (the "square" zoom transition only scales from a centered positions, no rotate-zoom function is provided).

But, if you have a bit of skills with as2/3, you can modify the fillMask4 function that deals with square transitions to move whichever way you want.

  • Hi I just bought this and its a great component! I got it to work for me. However, is there anyway to do a series of images with the transitions in between them? I don't know actionscript that well so I might be totally overlooking something but I wanted to ask. I am trying to do a slideshow of images with transitions. Pretty simple but I am not sure how to make it work right. If you can help that would be great! Thanks.

  • Hi,

In the fla file you've downloaded there are templates that you can use as examples (which should be as simple as duplicating the movieclip of the template, replacing the default images with your own and modifying the mask dimensions/duration).

Since the transitions use action script, they are a bit tricky to get used to, but they are basically just "fancy" masks that require a simple setup (type, duration, size, direction of movement, etc.). Once the initialization is done (the action script call), you can use them as any other masked layer in the timeline (since they will stay visible as long as the frame that contains them is there).
