Very nice code. We purchased it via a work account.
I would love to see smarter cropping for the loaded images. From what I could see, the images are stretched to fit the width/height — This is not a huge deal, you just have to crop your photos exact if you do not want any distortion.
It would be cool if you added some code that would crop the photos based on a user defined option… For example, this is what SlideShowPro does:
1. If set to “None” content is not scaled in any way. They’re simply loaded as-is.
2 If set to “Crop to Fit” content will proportionally downscale or upscale to completely fill the content area of the component, with excess area cropped out.
3. If set to “Crop to Fit All” content scales/crops the same way as “Crop to Fit” but the entire area of the component is used.
4. If set to “Downscale Only” content will proportionally downscale if larger than the component, but will not be upscaled if smaller.
3. If set to “Proportional” content will proportionally downscale or upscale to fit the dimensions of the component.
Anyway… Your component is excellent as it is, and I love that all the options can be set via the XML, but it would be even better if you did not need to crop each photo exact.
Thanks!

Hi,
Just bought the file, nice work. But i have a problem in IE, it seems that IE is caching the xml file, and the changes i made in xml won’t show in page.
Can you help?

There seems to be a small displaying glitch when the width of the left side buttons is changed beyond a value of 200. It seems as if the background of the buttons are ‘repeated’.

It doesn’t display the “ã” or “õ” chars!!!
For portuguese language this is crucial!
Already posted this bug on their support forums but still no answer…

Hello,
I just replied to your PM. This file was done by one of our developers that was fired and we’re currently trying to replace him as far as support goes.
The support for the portuguese special characters is quite easy to implement, here’s a tutorial on how to do it : http://forum.oxylusflash.com/rules-faq/607-textfield-embeding-additional-glyphs.html
This is in our forums faq section :)
Cheers !
