  • Hey “Tibisor,” great gallery.

Question: I want to be able to load several of these galleries in a main FLA file using “content.loadMovie(“index.swf”)”. Is this possible?

    Thanks.

  • This gallery is made with as 3.0 , loadMovie is not working anymore. If you want to load multiple galleries in a single fla you need to do it with as 3.0, Loader class.

  • Hey man, nice file, can I add links to each image, as if you click or double click to bring up an swf or from the folder?

  • You need to change the code for that…, you will get just what you see with this vresion.

  • It’s possible to get a url at the end of slideshow?
I’ll search an identical fullscreen slideshow with geturl at the end of slideshow.

    Thanks in advance

  • Hey

Is it possible to link direct to a image in the slideshow?

    #  /  posted on May 04, 2009
  • Yes is possible but you need to add that in the code…

  • Okay. Is that easy or are there any places where I can read about this?

  • Hey. This gallery doesn’t adjust to the pictures height, just it’s width. How do I fix so that it doesn’t scale the image or scales it to the height?

  • The image is centered this means that a portrait image will be centered from the center of the image, what you can do if you have portrait images to add tow images this way you will have a lanscape format image.

  • I purchased this component but I cannot open the FLA file to make any changes. Is there a way to change the red in the highlight and the mouseover navigation? It’s much too bright and I’d like to tone that down to a certain hex code.

  • You need flash cs3 to open it, in there you will find the symbols and you can change the colors is not hard to do it.

  • What about Flash CS4? We’ve tried opening the file with Flash CS4 but the file seems to be corrupt – it will not open on two of our office computers and it crashes the Flash program on our graphics PC.

  • It should work with flash cs4, I don’t know why that happens, is a really simple file with a few lines of code.

  • Is it possible to email just the FLA file we need to info@alphageekwebdesign.com?

We purchased this flash script and have downloaded the file multiple times to different computers to see if the files enclosed will open (they will not). This is the script we want to use but we absolutely need to change the reds to burgundy.

  • I don’t really understand what I need to do in order to help you. You need the .fla?

  • My question is how easy would it be to integrate a thumbnail option in? If I have a whole bunch of images the visitor would have to go through 20 files just to get to file 21 as an example.

  • For this type of gallery I will not include thumbs, is not to difficult but it is taking to much time. Is best to check out one of my others galleries maybe you will find something that you like.

Please look at my portfolio here…

  • Dear tibisor,

I’m checking out this nice gallery.

In Chrome, when in Full Screen mode, the “next” / “back” function doesn’t work. Safari gives the same problem.

Before I buy it, I would like to know if you can change this.

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards,

    Xavier Geerdink

  • Hi.

I really don’t know how to help you there because I don’t have the browser installed, I will check this soon.

One question… have you tried other flash components in In Chrome, I want to know if other flash components have the same problem.

  • Hi

    Bought this great script.

How do I add an additional menu (swf menu with different categories) And is it possible for the images to randomly change without pressing next and previous image?

    thx

  • The only way to have multiple files is to change the code and use it in your fla. I will update this but now I’m updating some other stuff that I made so you will have to wait or ask a as 3.0 developer to help you with this.

  • OK

What about the random slideshow effect?

  • ...and the same fullscreen problem with the buttons in FF too!

  • Hello, Yes other flash components seem to be working properly in Chrome/Safari; e.g. http://www.flashcomponents.net/upload/samples/4337/index.html?full=true.

Looking forward to hear about your solution.
