Visit component "XML Image Gallery ( & Scroller Menu / Banner / Slideshow ) AS2 - 01" page
I have this working in a flash film. I have changed nothing in the flash or the xml files, but the text isnt showing - the title is - but the actual text isnt showing straignt out of the box.. I am not sure what I should be changing. Any help would be appreciated.

I've added new images into the files to replace the existing ones that came with the preloaded version. have changed the file names in the config. doc but they aren't being displayed. ???? What else do i need to do so the images are recognised? Thanks
@catrose: Edit the .fla file in Flash / edit the text field / open the text properties panel and change the text attributes and also you can click on the Embed button if you need to embed some character set(s).
@Mauro: It lloks nice, I see it's working fine from here, check also if you have the latest FP version installed for that respective browser.
@chmckinn: You can load the gallery swf as an external resource into your Flash project.
@cherryo: Make sure all the image names are lowercase , for example image1.jpg not image1.JPG
I bought this component its great, but i have a problem with it.
once i embed the .swf file into my index, once i clic on my pics link, the complete design move to the left.. what i need to do to dolve this.

I saw the answer:
@sud: Edit the .fla file in Flash and edit the thumbnailsMenu clip / go to ReadMe layer and comment the stage align code line or both:
Stage.align = "TL"; Stage.scaleMode = "noScale";
But where i place this code exactly, (line number?) ? because still doesnt work for me.

Edit the .fla file in Flash / edit the thumbnailsMenu movie clip, go to the ReadMe layer and look for these two code lines:
Stage.align = "TL";
Stage.scaleMode = "noScale";
and comment the first line.
How do I add more than 5 pictures. I added more than 5 pictures in the big/small picture folder and only shows 5.
Edit the config.xml configuration file / go to the images group tags area and duplicate / edit ( remove ) the entries and specify your own images.
Hi, I have problem with czech language. Text in english is Ok, but when I type czech text into config.xml - is displayed wrong

i'm having the same problem as people described here before. The gallery works fine in ie and firefox but in chrome it acts really buggy.
I tested it both locally and on a server but the problem remains. My chrome version is up to date. I checked the x-treme dock alternative gallery but it's as3 and i am creating my website with as2.
What's strange is that the gallery does work properly on this page (flashcomponents.net) as i'm viewing it in chrome.
What can i do to solve this problem?
i also found out about the known issues with the multiple flash plug-ins chrome has running. The solutions that were given by adobe didn't solve this problem however.
This also seems to be a problem just with this particular component, in chrome. I have not experienced this problem with any other flash/xml components in chrome.
It wouldn't be much of a problem if chrome wasn't the most used browser at the moment.
