I’m sorry that is not possible. What you can do is to disable the buttons and use the external links to open new pages.

Hi there,
I have a problem with the input texts in contact. When I write Greek characters, some other strange characters appear instead. I have included the Greek fonts at the CHARACTER EMBEDDING. This problem happens only when i type in the contact text-fields on the browser page, and not on the .swf file after I compile it in flash. The problem is also here, on the http://www.flashcomponents.net/upload/samples/4872/index.html?full=true web page.
Any ideas?

I did not compiled the Greek characters so this is the problem. I’m not sure if the font that I’m using supports Greek fonts. Try changing the input text to Arial is similar in looks with the fonts that I used, and make sure that you embed the Greek fonts.

Thank you for your quick response.
The problem has to do with the swfobject (js) and not with your flash file.
I just had to use the flash generated html and javascript code to embed the swf into my page.

I’d like the ability to link to specific menu items (contact us, about us, etc.) from outside my ‘XML Template Photography’ site. By that I mean sending someone a clickable link directly to a page within the site (like HTML’s ‘link’ and ‘name’).
Is there any way for you to explain in a few steps how that’s done, if it’s at all possible, and/or can you point me to an online resource that might get me started?. I use the Design Premium CS4 suite and am somewhat proficient in Flash and HTML, but have no ActionScript 3.0 experience yet.

I understand now what you need. That is called “deep linking” in flash. This template dose not support that.

Hi, I have few questions;
1. how do I link the logo to the homepage
2. can I control the fade of the background instead of making complete black and white or can disable this?
3. On the first ‘Collection’ button is there a way where that can be the click button to see the portfolio, rather than it being the rollover to view submenu?

The home click thing is something that I am planning to do sometime soon but I don’t know when.
For the other questions it can be done with code changes.. I can do it custom for you…

Only one collection menu is possible, you can add as many galleries as you need.

having problem to play avi or mov formats in video section, does it read only f4v formats? if yes, how can i convert to f4v? thanks in advance…..

This are the supported formats.
FLV / H.264 encoded video including MP4, M4V, M4A, MOV, Mp4v, F4V
But is best to use f4v is a native for flash… is strange that .mov is not working, are you sure that you have the latest version of flash player installed?
You can convert a mov into a .f4v with “ Adobe Media Encoder 2 CS4” or higher, there are other programs out there that can do that but this is what I am using.

I’m trying to reverse the color of the menu and sub menu. I got the menu changed, but the sub menu acts buggy. How do I do that with the submenu? I want it so that when you hover over the Collection menu it becomes white with black font, the sub menus stay black with white font, until you hover over it and then it turns white with black font.

Open index.html with a text editor search for “XML Template Photography” replace it with your one label then save the file. To test it open index.html in the browser.

You are loading a huge image instead of a thumb.. Make sure all you thumbs are the same.
