  It seems that by default country links open a new window (_target=blank) How does one target the same window (_target=top) ?

  To open country link in the same window you should change function openURL that is placed inside HTML file (WorldMap.html) from:

  function openURL(myURL) {
      window.open(myURL);
  }
  

  to

  function openURL(myURL) {
      window.open(myURL, "_self");
  }

  Is there a way to resize the flash component? when I try changing the size only the div container resizes and not the component itself. I bought a commercial license btw.

  I am currently working on the new version of the map (will be released in a couple of days) where resizing will be done by setting parameters trough XML file. If it's not convenient for you to wait for new version, send me on my e-mail, size of the map you need and I will change it for you. Regards, LazaI

  Hi Lazal, would you know if I can store this world map in the front page of the workspace I'm creating inside www.centraldesktop.com? My company has 105 Partners worldwide and would like to have something like this: every user who log in into my workspace can see the world map where I will highlight where we have offices worldwide. By clicking on Pakistan for example, it will open a new window with inside basic information about the Pakistani Partner. Is this too much? can u help out at all? Thanks Giuseppe

  Sure it can.
  Here is some example, just keep in mind its the old version of the map, and slightly customized, but you can see that click on the county shape opens some description in another window. [http://oscltd.com/?q=where-we-work.html][1]

  Leaving Iraq out of the map was my mistake so thanks for catching it.

  Hi Lazal, I need to add the functionality to export the world map as JPG or PNG image. I am using "Adobe Flash CS4" ide. I have converted the action script version to 3.0 and implement bytearray, base64 features. But while compiling I am getting lots of warnings (most of them version incompatiability) and the swf file not working.

  Hi Arup,
  this item is done in AS2 and I can not help you converting it to AS3. Also, this export functionalities you are mentioning are not part of the item options.
