  • This is extremely nicely built product. Before purchasing I'd like to know how this line of description is implemented:

    Blockquote

Fully resizable Flash Video Player (Play 4:3 or 16:9 or any custom size of video)

    Blockquote

The thing is – I have playlist that has mixed – 3x4 and 16x9 proportioned videos. It would be helpful if you included at least one 3x4 sample in your demo. Specifically I need to know: 1. Will 3x4 video fill all player's window (with list on the right)? 2. When user is choosing the list not to me shown, – what happened with video? Will it be shown with two vertical black bars each side? Will it be cropped to fit 16x9 background?..

    Thank you for your response.

  • @abereut

It dose not matter the video format, it will always be resized to be be fully visible in normal or full screen mode.

  • I am trying to add a video that uses RTMP. Is that possible? Also, I wanted to link to an external site video, it doesn't work. Does this not support Adobe Flash Media Server? aka HTTP Live streaming or RTMP streaming?

  • Hi,

When I have 3 or 4 videos in any category and when I click on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th video on the playlist, the whole set of videos keeps scrolling down in the playlist.

Can you please tell me how I can fix this issue?

    Thanks Niks

  • HI, first - thank you for a great player :) I modified the thumbnail size to a 70x70px - looks and works great.

3 things I need to know please: one: where can I implement a custom css file [it does not work to add css styling [for links] in the html file [in the html body tag] does nothing. The links are still blue. [info box etc.]

two: where in the fla can I change the active border [thumbnail[ from white to a different color?

three: re-position the info and share box: I don't want it smack in the center of the video. I need it further down. People reading a longer paragraph, especially with flash fonts having to be so small, they miss half the video.

I appreciate your help. Thank you. Michele

  • Hi again, also forgot to mention - the fonts are not embedded. I went and checked them out. Am not willing to pay another $ 15.00 per font [there are 3]. So, am using a substitute Flash font [I have several] but none of them work properly, the text is totally scrambled [thumbnail description]. I tried to decrease/increase etc. the spacing, as well as the font size. I have official flash fonts I had purchased a while back, so they are proper pixel fonts. I also decreased the lines, since I made the thumbnail square [instead of 4 lines in the thumbnail description, I have 3, so I was able to fit the layer properly.

I should be able to use any flash font without having garbage text.

    Any suggestions?

  • Hi, also looked through all the class files. Am not comfortable to change anything in there, because I am not that good with flash. I can modify small things [the visual ones, working with timeline etc. but action script is still a no-touch- issue with me :(.

Also, forgot to mention that I had to save the fla file as a CS5. It could have something to do with, although the action script is 3, sometimes with CS4 saved version, something changes once in CS5, especially, since it cna no longer be opened in CS4 [I don't have CS4 anymore on my computer anyway.]

  • If you just tell me which of the 3 fonts is used for the thumbnail headline - I will break down and buy it, the rest I can somewhat live with.

Those font's should be listed in the help file, since they are not embedded and am sure there are others that also may need to re-save the file and run into the exact same problem. There has been someone else that asked about changing the thumb size.

  • The player does not work in Internet Explorer - at least not for me. I get only the empty frame. Is there something I am missing here? Because I am typing this right now from Internet Explorer Browser, and I cannot see a video of the demo either. No problem with firefox, Google Chrome or Safari.

Please give feedback. Thank you. Regards, Michele
