so far so good. is there a way to get rid of the blur effect on either end? also, what do i have to adjust to set the width of the area that controls the left-right movement? after i resized the scroller, it only reacts to mouse movement in the centre of the movie.
thanks.
Yes … you just change the variable effect to 0 … and you will have no effect just simple scroll …

is it possible to use this component with no effects at all? the site i am working on is www.davidellingsen.com. in the commercial section, you will see the scrolling i want. i need this exact look and functionality. i find the component i used to be a little jumpy and would like something smoother and more reliable.
The links are given by the XML file :
<galery>
<pic url=“the image target”
title=“Your Title”
link=“link for this imagel”>
</pic>
...........................................................
</gallery>

I would just like to say thanks for a great scroller. But I would I like to know if there is a way that a link can be added to the xml file or do I have to create the link in the png file?
Thanks in advance.
I forgot to tell that all the data (pictures, titles) are taken from XML file … easy to configured

i solved the blur removal issue, but am still stuck on the scroll area one. it seems to be an issue as soon as i set the bar height and width to the same size as the movie. you can see my modification at www.dangerboydesign.net/clients/ellingsen/scroller/index.htm and can see that there are two narrow areas that cause the movie to leap to the right or left.
please let me know if you have a solution for this.
