The Browse News Widget is a complete solution for displaying news on a website. This widget can be used as a teaser on the main page of the website.
The widget contains a title that contains a settable URL to the main article, news list with a brief text paragraph, date, day, time, and optionally an image.

Scrolling speed, mouse scroll speed and animation as the width and height of the news widget can be set in the xml file. Graphics and fonts can be changed inside the library of the main fla.

The images can have any size and aspect ratio, and this can be edited in the xml file. By default the thumb border is set to 2px, however from the xml file you can change it to any size you need, and from same file you can change also the colour of the border.

Update:
V. 1.1 - We added 4 new settings to this widget. Now the space between news can be edited from the xml. The title, date and description colour of the news can be edited from the xml file.

The Browse News Widget can’t read directly from your WordPress blog. It can be customized to read, but requires some work to be done.
The RSS Ticker and RSS Ticker v.2 can read latest post from your blog RSS.

Hello,
I am wondering how to repair the little gliche when rolling over the thumbnail. If you rollover a thumbnail in a small region in the center, the MOUSE_OVER and MOUSE_OUT events are triggered in a loop.
