News Panel with PopUnder Ticker

The News Panel with PopUnder Ticker is a simple solution to display news on your website. The product comes with 40+ XML customization options, which make this product to be easy to customize and integrate. The News Panel displays title, thumb, date and content. The content is html editable, it supports bold, italic, underline, color and URL.

To customize the product we created a list of XML settings. They are located in the settings.xml file. Bellow we'll explain all of them.

First setting of this News Panel is the global shadow color. Choose a color for the shadows all over the product.
The news have the option to auto loop. The auto loop can be activated or deactivated. The default loop time is set to 3 sec. It can be changed to different values in the xml file. In the same group of settings you can set animation time and mouse wheel speed.

The 2009 News Panel is resizable. The width, height, and corner radius are customizable from the next group of options. By default the widget is set to 540x220 and a 20 corner radius. All this can be edited to give another dimension and even create sharp angles at the corners. The margin top and left are the option to use when you want to center the widget in the stage.

The big navigation arrows located on the side of the product are customizable. The normal and over color of the arrows can be set in the next group of parameters.

The detail section of the news can be customized. Edit the background color, tot and left padding of the text; customize the thumb's width, height, border thickness and color. By default the thumb is 165x132.

For ease reading of the content we added a scroll bar. The scroll bar has following settings: scroll bar width and color, button width, height, normal and over color.

The popunder ticker can be customized from the settings.xml. Following parameters can be edited for the ticker: background color, height and corner radius. The news title corner radius, title margin, news separator line width and color are settable from xml. For reader convenience the ticker's scroll speed is settable from xml.

This product has title chars limitation. The chars in the news title and the ticker's title can be customized. By default the News Title is limited to 60 chars, and the ticker title to 30 chars. They both can be edited to a number more suitable for your needs.

The next groups of settings are dedicated for the news rollover in the ticker. The ticker has editable following parameters: title and news background color.
