Hello Flashtunning,

I have just made a menu qith 17 images and the two ones on the right sometines do not show. Or, if they do, only half of them can be seen. This does not happen on the left side of the movie. Am I doing something wrong? How can I fix this, I need to upload it ASAP.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

BTW, your previous reply solved the accented character problem. Thanks.

Is it possible to open the URL in the same window? I have tried the _self tag in the XML file and nothing happens. Matter of fact I‘ve tried just about everything I can think of.

Please help.

Hi,

The Unicode characters will work if you use the character itself and specify the XHTML document as UTF-8 (unicode) format:

Add the following line on top of he xml configuration file:

<?xml version=“1.0” encoding=“UTF-8”?>

Also make sure to embed the necessary character sets you need. To do so, edit the title_text Movie Clip from the library, select the Text Field from the stage , click the Embed button from the Properties Panel and select the necessary character sets (you probably need Latin I or Latind Extended variation etc) depending on the language/characters used in your movie.

Best regards,
Flashtuning

Hello,

Is there a way the Zoom Menu can accept and show letters with accents. I am referring to chactacters such as: ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, and ?)?

I have tried using words with these characters and they are skipped in the final results.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hi,

Sure you can set links to other html files. The line in the XML file need to have the following format:

<object source=“images/p1.jpg” url=“http://somewebaddress” window=”_blank” title=“some title” />

source – represents the external image
url – external web address used when pressing the photos
window – where the web page to be opened (in the same page or new window)
title – title to be displayed for the menu item

Best,
FT

Just wanted to let you know that I have finally been able to download the file by using someone else‘s computer.

Needless to say, I got no reply from contact [at] flashtuning.net even though I had received their email arrival confirmations.

I thank you for your replies to my previous messages. At least you, the programmer, has responded.

BTW, for some strange reason the sample files on this page work on Firefox on my computer, not so in IE7. I can download the file using neither browser on my computer. This is only possible from another computer. Do you have any idea why this might be happening?

Thank you for your time and for an aesthetically-designed component. =

Hi, thanks for your reply, but there was a miss-understanding on item 2; I didn‘t mean a frame in a flash file, I meant a link in the flash file to an external html on a diferent frame on the page (“a href=“xx.html” target=“yyy”> . Is it possible? If this is tue, I‘ll get this file.

Thanks again.

Hi,

If your order is completed, then all you have to do is Just login again and go to My Resources / My Purchased Files and download the product following the download link there. If you still can‘t download send us your email address at contact [at] flashtuning.net and we‘ll send you a temporary download link for this product.

Best,

Thank you for your reply.

No, I paid with Visa.

I also sent a message to sales at FC and, although they say that they has 24/7 service I have gotten no reply from them (except for an automatic message receipt confirmation) after more than 12 hours after buying the product.

BTW, when I load this page both examples on it do not load. All the images load with a ‘loading’ circle on top and that‘s it. The Flash components seem to have half loaded. The only similar Flash component that fully loads for me here is the website navigation one below. I point his out in case this might have something to do with the download issue.

You probably payed with eCheck and the eCheck didn‘t cleared your bank account and the order is in pending state. When it will be completed you will be able to download the product. For more info regarding your transaction send an emai to FC sales support.
