Hi,
To adjust the size of the document you either edit the .fla file in Flash and change the document properties or edit the width / height properties of the Flash object inisde the .html page.
Check the tips and tricks tutorial ( you have the link listed in the product description ) for most common general questions and answers.

Hi, I purchased this project and everything is working great for the most part. The only problem I am having is with the mouse events that are occurring. I have the .swf loading into my main .swf and when i move the mouse left or right anywhere on the .swf, the gallery moves left to right. I only want the thumbnails to move when the mouse is actually within a close proximity of the thumbnails. How do i do this?

Hi,
We’re glad you’ve found the menu useful. You can adjust the mouse movement speed by editing the tweendecay and tweentoleration parameters but if you want you can even change / adjust the mouse movement code any way you you like buy editing the .fla file in Flash / then the menuHolder clip / go to the Read Me layer and look for the engineHandler() method.

Hi –
I’ve just bought the 2D Zoom component and things are going fine on the whole, so thanks for all your efforts to make this a great component! I have one problem I’m not sure how to address – I notice from an earlier comment (russthorne June 5th/2009) that somebody else had the same problem, but I couldn’t see a solution reply…

Hi,
Thank you for purchasing the 2D Zoom Menu app. We’re in the process of realeasing a new version of the zoom menu in the next time interval and everybody will be automatically notified when it will be ready. Thanks for your understanding.

Great you are planning an update. I’m working on a project I’d like to use the app in, and I’ve customized the script so that I can pass it a programmatically generated XML list from actionscript, as I want to be able to use actionscript to choose different image sets. However, the mousing issue I mentioned is going to be a problem.
1. Any idea roughly when the new version will come out?
2. Do you need any beta testers before then?

Hello, i'm trying to install the free version of the 2D image zoom menu to work in my fla, but everything flashes out of control and i can't seem to find the cause. Is there any modification other than the one you mention to install it into an fla that is necessary? (i've followed your instructions, but still doesn't work)... If i run the fla by itself, then it works fine, but then if i insert it into a new blank fla, then it doesn't work... could you please help? thank you, jean luc

You need to have all the necessary configuration files like in the download folder into the folder of your application and also all the library symbols copied into your fla library. But the simplest way is to load it as an external swf. You can also check the more advanced zoom menu version X-Treme Zoom Menu ( you have the link in the comment above your comment ).
