The 252 template uses 36 horizontal images by 7 vertical images (252 in total). You can spin the object, rotate with your mouse, zoom in/out, move, and re-centre the object. (See my other 36 single layer, and my 126 3D viewer for multi-layer for true 360° viewing angles.)
Once loaded it's smoother faster than an xml based object viewer, and doesn't significantly effect other animations that maybe on the same webpage. Export to a single SWF or flash projector, with no external files required. Simple - tidy.
Full commercial license available.
IMPORTANT
The 3D viewers are IMAGE based, and you will require images rendered from your preferred 3D application or from photographic sources. Instructions for image sequences are provided in a help document.
3D Viewer features:
Spin
Zoom
Move
Re-centre
auto hide toolbar
pre-loader
image smoothing
import any image size (with simple modification)
About
I've been looking for a simple AS2, entirely flash-based object viewer, that was highly customisable and not reliant on external files, which exported to a single SWF or flash projector. So having not found one, I decided to create some easily customisable templates for my own needs, now I'd like to share these with others.
Why not use an XML?
The problem with XML generators and controllers, whilst these are very good tools to have, I've found that having such content within a webpage takes a bit of the computers resources and power to run. And having more than one XML generator within the same page considerably slows the performance particularly on a laptop or portable device - at least this is what I have found.
The images in these object viewers I've created are embedded into a single flash file, so once loaded from the web - performance is very good, and doesn't significantly effect other animations that maybe on stage.
