Key Features

Customizable height, width and spacing
The height and width of the spiral as well as the spacing between the thumbnails is customizable, creating a tight or spread out spiral.

Double sided thumbnails
Option to set thumbnails to be double sided and have mirrored backs.

XML or ActionScript
Images can defined through an external XML file or dynamically through ActionScript. Most parameters can be set in either the Component Inspector or through XML.

Swivel camera
The spiral can rotate on the axis or the camera can be set to swivel while the spiral is zooming and scrolling.

Customizable animation settings
Option for opening thumbnails to appear from behind the camera or behind the spiral with adjustable speed and easing styles. The large image zoom in/zoom out speed and easing styles are also adjustable.

Mouse and keyboard interactivity
The mouse can be used for click and drag mouse for spinning and up/down movement as well as free motion using the auto-scroll option. The scroll-wheel zooms in and out of the spiral or flips through large images. Arrow keys flip through large images. Space bar zooms in and out of large images.

Depth of field
Thumbnails towards the back of the spiral can be displayed with an adjustable amount of blur and brightness to create the perception of depth of field.

Mouse and scroll events
Includes ActionScript events for mouse over, out and click. Additional parameters can be specified for each image in the XML which can be used, for example, to specify a URL to open on click and to display a title or description for the selected image.

Built-in skinnable scrollbar and preloader
Includes an optional skinnable scrollbar. The preloader, font and text are also fully customizable.

Thumbnail borders
A color border can be specified for thumbnails including the thickness, up and mouse over colors.
