Tree3D 2.0 Live Example
Ok my boss just handed this to me and said get it to work. So I installed it on FlashCS3. So how do I get the nice GUI you have in your example to manipulate the files? Also did this come with an XML file and the icons?
Thanks
Hello. I just arrived from vacations and noticed your comments.
Here are my answers:
@ kug75fy. You may define as many columns or rows you want to display. For example if you define 5 columns and 2 rows, you would see 10 items from each level. The current level will display a scrollbar if needed. As for the size it is fully resizable. You may even add a rezise event and make the component as big as the stage to get a real-time resize.
@NoFeaxr. You may add a click event to make the component do whatever you want, event instance a loader to launch an external swf, just like in a grid or list from the adobe ui components. If you need more help. Please write to alejandro.gonzalez@zerofractal.com
hi, i try arrangement your files. i can not do only giving order (command) to in files any items swf load order.for example ”<item name:happiest“icon:”.//icons/happy.png”/>” i wanna called swf in display this when i clicked. i will be glad if you help me.thanks
what would happen if you had 256 items that needed to be displayed in a subfolder, and another 256 items in that subfolder, and so on and so on? it seems like sometimes icons get lost outside the screen area. is there a way to show a full screen version on this component? can one specify screen size or does x, and y position itself based on percentages. also, is there a minimum/max screen size? i‘m very interested in the component…

Hi. I'm not sure what you mean with the gui. Basically you set up the tree using the component inspector. The example above shows more or less all of the options available there.
There is also an examples zip file that contains not only the examples above but a lot of step by step samples, icons, etc.
If you need further assistance, please write to support@zerofractal.com
Cheers,
Alejandro.
