  • Hey vhugo61,

I’m not sure what you mean by being used with an interactive PDF. You can’t load a pdf into the accordion Pro.

  • Nice script. In the vertical Accorion Pro configuration, the image descriptions are all in the lower portion of each slide; but that means that you don’t see the description until you have moused over it.
Does the XML file allow you to set the description at the top, so that you see the words before you start shuffling through them? That would, of course, conflict with the arrow buttons, but maybe one could leave out descriptions for certain slides.

  • Hello Doug,

You can move the description box. You do this in Flash by double clicking on the accordionPro component that is placed on the stage. You then double click on the image_skin asset to open it’s timeline. Just position the description text assets where you want it. Republish the component to see your changes.

    Hope that helps,

    Steve

  • Hi,
I was considering buying your accordion, but there is one thing I need to know first.

Is there a way to call a javascript: function() from the xml file, instead of a regular link?

If so, how would this be done?

    thanks in advance.

    Chris

  • Hello chris.white,

You can do some javascript functions from the URL in the xml file. Like using lightbox. See link below.

  • Hello,

    great component !!

I’m trying to use the menu to navigate inside my flash document and trigger functions so
I need to link the menu buttons to action script functions on click rather than having a link to URL. How can I do that please ?

In advance thank you for your help, this is rather urgent matter :)

    Best,
    Inabeathead
